Make No Mistake: The Team is Quitting on Jerry Not Big Mac

I started to make an entire thread about this but honestly...

when Garrett's guys got old and left, the team collapsed. Seriously...Red Jesus used to preach RKOG...and we all got tired of it at the end but...

I always respected the fact that he solved the issue that Wade/Campo/Gailey couldn't...his teams didn't quit (for the most part). Sorry, but MM's teams just OPENLY QUIT. The team that fired him went 13-3 in back-to-back years and the QB who wanted him fired won back-to-back NFL MVPs. So...anyone holding on to 12-4 is missing the point about him.

You can’t make chicken salad out of chicken…you know what.

The players played just fine for McCarthy the past 3 years. They are simply outmanned this season with the roster the front office put together. The whole world knew the Cowboys needed to get better at stopping the run and running the ball. The DLine, Oline, and RB’s all got worse in the off-season. Add in injuries to an already extremely shallow roster and it’s been a worst case scenario season.

I’m not saying McCarthy is a great coach or that he would have ever taken the team over the top, but I really don’t believe any coach could have saved this season.

The major issue that never goes away is still pretending the coach is the problem. That got old 20 years ago! Jerry is flat out a giant turd and this season is 100% on him and his kid. They’re both absolute garbage! The team didn’t quit, the evaluation process is utter crap with these clowns and this team simply isn’t good enough.

Some fans have recently posted that the team has quit on lame duck head coach McCarthy. This is an inaccurate assessment as no one reports to Big Mac, they all report to Jerry. So ans this miserable season progresses and we see players giving a half baked effort, realize they are quitting on Jerry.
Thank you for this. Big Mike is innocent. The fish rots from the head down in Dallas.

I’ll say it again….Mike isn’t awful, but he isn’t on the level of Shanahan or LaFleur who thoroughly out did him in each of the 12 win seasons on the playoffs.

Jerry will always go for the inferior coach who won’t complain about being constantly undermined.

That’s what we are stuck with so Jerry’s ego can grab the spotlight.

Ok while I can see the Cadaver and his moron son being this immature and petty, is there any actual evidence of this? I would think telling any bad truths about any franchise would lead to an unofficial "blacklist" by the owners. The thought being "even if it's true about the Jones's O can't risk this coach coming here and telling the truth about me"
First off, who have you heard that has really talked in detail about Jerry’s dysfunction circus? Yes, Troy Aikman and other broadcasters and sports personalities will say some negative things about what Jerry has done to the team/franchise but no one has tried to go scorched earth and that gives me some clues. Additionally, if you observe what some billionaires get away with, it’s all about NDAs, something Jerry is intimately familiar signing. What you call a lack of evidence is what I call the results of NDAs. I would surmise every player and coach signs a NDA w Jerry.

Jerry can be bad and still the team give up on their coach.

And I have seen what millionaires 'get away with.' NDA requires both parties to need to sign. A young person or similar individual with poor income is not the same as football players and journalists.

You watch too much TV.

When I think of you and see your posts, I know it's time to pick up my guitar, smoke a bowl of weed and forget you even exist. Works like a charm.
Yet here you are. You are never credible.

You always seem angry trying to pretend you are not nonetheless.

Your assumptions would be wrong.

Regarding both parties signing an NDA, the other party signing represents:

1. Sign or you won’t be a Dallas Cowboy
2. Sign or you’re fired
3. Sign or you get zero severance after your company lays you off (not necessarily a Jerry scenario but a corporate America one)
4. Sign or I won’t write you a large check

Do any of these look like they benefit the non-billionaire?

I'm not doubting you. But wouldn't the NFLPA ***** and whine about that?

LOL.

As for the players there is the CBA and the NFLPA.

Texas employers can fire without cause. Further an intake policy like that would not be a secret given that 10s of 1000s of employees would be aware of it.

If you didn't get the severance agreement in writing sure, OTOH, if it is in writing it will lead to summary judgment.

In general, I see TV plotlines and not reality.
