Make or Break game for Danny Coale

Harris an Beasley are our 4 and 5. I'm pulling for Coale but he will have to have a HUGE game make the 53, ps for him.

I've got a feeling Coale is going to get healthy and end up playing for a team in the NFL. Hope it is somewhere in the AFC like Jacksonville or Buffalo.

Coale will not make the 53. As of now beasley shouldnt either. Harris is a lock. Not sure about benford he'll probably be on ps

Lol
Better duck!
There are people with Beasley wallpaper in their little private viewing room in this forum, so you are on thin ice!
Dude has about 50 threads in his honor already.

Having said that, I do think he can get open at will.

Are we forgetting about Armstrong, or just writing him off? Or assuming he has a spot?

The guy has been solid through out camp... not sure what you've been watching. I'm convinced that a lot of fans paid zero attention to training camp at this point.

Even in the preseason games, Beasley has shown quite a bit.

Beasley makes the team.

Armstrong has been signed by the Cowboys three different times since last November. So, the team appears to be ambivalent about him, and he isn't eligible for the practice squad. Also, he is 30 years old, but he did gain 871 yards for the Skins in 2010, averaging 19.8 yards a reception. Plus, he has looked like a guy who probably is good enough to be a 5th or 6th receiver during his time with the Cowboys thus far.

If I had to guess, I would say he only makes the team if we go with 6 receivers. BTB thinks Armstrong and Tanney are competing for the 53rd spot on the roster. That could very well be true.

If he wasn't broken already it wouldn't be. At this point you have to give the nod to Benford over Coale, at least he has proven he can produce in a real game situation.

Agreed. And Benford's has even more of an edge because Tanney is one of his biggest fans. You know Tanney will be giving Benford more looks when in a jam. Coale, Beasley and Armstrong better give Tanney some love soon so he can look their way against the Texans.

Armstrong IMO is ahead of Beasley right now. And Armstrong is not only one of the fastest players on the team but also a very good ST player to boot.

want to do a sig bet on that?

That a healthy Armstrong is ahead of an injured Beasley right now?

Beasley is already back at practice, and his spot on this team is locked in. Armstrong? Lucky if he makes the team.

So certainly not ahead of Beasley. Sorry. But as I said, would you like to do a sig bet?

Nope. I like Armstrong but he is not a pet cat.

I dont' get the obsession with Cole Beasley. He's a slot receiver and we already have Miles and Dwayne Harris playing the slot. He can't play special teams.....why does he even make this roster?

Because he is better in the slot than Harris, thanks for playing though.

game = break?
