I found Brugler's mock interesting because by the time pick 19 rolls around, we get cleaned out of all the sexy picks we're all coveting. So what would you do in this situation:

1. Cleveland Browns - Sam Darnold, QB, USS
2. New York Giants - Josh Rosen, QB, UCLA
3. Indianapolis Colts - Bradley Chubb, DE, NC State
4. Cleveland Browns (from Houston) - Minkah Fitzpatrick, CB, Alabama
5. Denver Broncos - Josh Allen, QB, Wyoming
6. New York Jets - Saquon Barkley, RB, Penn State
7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Quenton Nelson, OG, Notre Dame
8. Chicago Bears - Denzel Ward, CB, Ohio State
9. San Francisco 49ers - Roquan Smith, LB, Georgia
10. Oakland Raiders - Vita Vea, DT, Washington
11. Miami Dolphins - Tremaine Edmunds, LB, Virginia Tech
12. Cincinnati Bengals - Connor Williams, OT, Texas
13. Green Bay Packers - Marcus Davenport, DE/OLB, UTSA
14. Washington Commanders - Da'Ron Payne, DT, Alabama
15. Arizona Cardinals - Baker Mayfield, QB, Oklahoma
16. Baltimore Ravens - Calvin Ridley, WR, Alabama
17. Los Angeles Chargers - Derwin James, SS, Florida State
18. Seattle Seahawks - Josh Jackson, CB, Iowa
19. Dallas Cowboys-????

If it goes like that, I think you have to go............. Bryan or Rashaan Evans. Outside the box thinking? McGlinchey? I read one scouting report that said he could play OG. If you play him at LG, he can also be a swing tackle and maybe an eventual replacement for Smith if his back is really an issue.

Y’all know as well as I do that there are always weird picks that go down ahead of us. Guys get taken higher than they should, a team takes somebody no guru saw coming, etc. We’ll get our guy. My guess is Bryan or Evans, but look out for O-line.

He apparently has some off the field issues I haven’t done any research on yet...but from a pure talent standpoint Arden Key DE from LSU. If he checks out in the interview process it would be a no brainer pick for me.

Seems a lot of people are ignoring pass rushers...Cellini Ferrell from Clemson also has some elite pass rusher traits to him as well

Maurice Hurst DT-Michigan....Ive liked him all along.Good v the run....can generate pressure...and over the years Michigan DL have played well.
Dallas hasnt taken a DT in Rd 1 since Russell Maryland.
If Ridley were there Id pick him. He's not.....so Im takin' Hurst.

No one seems to know what the deal with Key is. He left LSU for a few months and came back with no real explanation made public.

Ferrell went back to Clemson. The whole line did (Wilkins, Bryant).

If the draft falls like this, you jump up and grab Derwin James. With 10 picks in the trade, there's plenty of ammunition.

Trade down and get whoever is left from Hurst, Bryan, Evans, Landry and a few others; basically the same drill as when we didn't want the DT a few years ago.

I say trade down and take vander esch, harrison phillips, mcglinchey, or billy price. Then you trade up in round two to get a better player like wynn or the penn state saftey

Yep......... if the draft goes down like this, we cost ourselves James or Ridley because we had to squeak out that impressive 6-0 win over the Eagles backups.

Well done.

2015 all over again.

And that "Believe" win against Washington. The one that took us from pick #2 overall in 2016 (Wentz) to pick #4.

Hooray for moral victories!

So I dont know enough about Hurst to like or dislike him. But for those of you that do, isnt he way too small at 285 # ( on a good day) to hold up against grown men NFL linemen ?
And taking him would mean he's our 3-tech going forward, making Collins the 1-tech. Which I do not agree with.
So convince me he's not just a poor mans Arron Donald (and nowhere near as good) ...
