He his quietly becoming a very good player. And plays smart.
He was bring interviewed by Brad Sham and Babe Laufenberg after the game Sunday night.
I recorded it, as it didn't come on until about 1:30, and watched it last night after the Panthers made Kirk "like that" loss....LOL.

Any way Babe asked him about his fumble recovery. He said it was a city fumble. Babe asked him to explain that.
Maliek said, a "country fumble" is where it is out in the open, so you try to scoop and score if you think you can pick it up. But a "city fumble" is where there are too many people around and then you just need to fall on it to recover it.

So that is what he did, just make the recovery. Wonder if this is taught by the coaches, or if it is him. Either way sounds like a smart player.

I've heard a couple other players use that term. I think they got it from Marinelli. That was a very athletic play for a big man. Ball was secured swiftly.

They need to start that FSSW postgame immediately after the game and go for 2 hours.

On Sunday daytime games. They have an hour long post game show at 7 PM CST on local channel 21. This one is the 30 minute one on local CBS 11 that starts anywhere from 11:00 to 1:30...but yeah, needs to be earlier and longer.

I always forget about the one on FSSW. As I am trying to record / watch FOX, ABC, NBC, CBS local sports, plus NFLN & ESPN.

Hahaha thats funny they just stand around the ball saying you pick it up, no you pick it up... :lmao::lmao:

You guys are having way too much fun with this

I didn't know at the time it was Collins that fell on that ball but I was impressed and half surprised he got it so easily.

As much as I can't stand Tyrone Crawford he made this play. He shielded an offensive lineman that was going to get that ball before anyone else could get to it. Great heads up play by Crawford.

I love what I see from him thus far. I was shocked to see during the Tampa game that PFF has him as a one of the lowest rated DT's in the league. Total BS in my opinion. Either a mistake or they don't know how to rate DT's. Like I said: LOVE him for a rookie especially.
