I did try that. It didn't work, but it steered me in a different direction to get to the bottom of it.

Same exact thing happened to me. It attached itself to the browser. Restore browser default settings to get rid of it, if you haven't already.

When you hit ctrl alt delete on a computer it pulls up a program called taskmanager. If your tablet has that, open it up, and look at all the programs you have running. If you do not know what a program is, go to a search engine and type, what is "name of program", to find out its function or if it is malware. Uninstall the malware program or programs.

If is has an add or remove program function, it might be easier to find it the malware that way
