If that pic is from this year, it can't be Coale, because he's still rehabbing from his knee injury.

Its easy to mistake alot of players in a still frame. If i photoshopped all the numbers off the jerseys for all the OTA pics that came out, you wouldn't have the slightest clue who the hell you were looking at.

I believe that picture is Coale, btw. Same gloves, same shoes, same physical characteristics.

Looking at pictures Beasley seems to wear a different mask.

Looks like Coale.

On the phone so this will have to do.

Well, whoever it is he's one good hit away from being carted off the field for good.....

He and just about any other player out there. I've yet to see a guy who can't be hurt.

Yes but when you weigh half what the other guys weigh the odds are against you...

Generally, the guys who are very small and slender like that who still make it in the NFL do so because they have a knack for avoiding that type of hit. They may be small, but they are quick and shifty and those types of players are tough to line up and tee off on in the open field.

Some better pictures of both. Can't say for certain but that could easily be Coale. He's certainly not too big for that skinny figure in the OP to be him.

I think the question was about the original picture in the first post, where you can't see the number..

Welcome to the board though.

It's Coale in the OP.

You can tell by the all white gloves.

I thought he made a nice contribution last year. I worry that every time he falls on the ball, he's going to injure himself.

Pretty much the same size. Jackson has the speed to out run a lot of hits though. Beasley will need to use the sideline and learn how to protect himself.

Coale = 5'8" 177
D.Jackson = 5'10" 175

I guess we have gotten away from scouting players based on game film and started evaluating them on photo shots. Seriously, I think Beasley will have a tough time staying healthy because he looks like he is hurt after every tackle.

Definitely Danny Coale in original picture. Look at gloves and shoes. And for those who still doubt, look at Beasley's legs in the pic with Romo. They are shaved smooth, so unless his leg hair grows unnaturally fast then there is no way thats him in original pic

I agree. Skinny guys cannot be taking crunching blows continuously, or they will stay on IR. Just be smart, do what you can do, and get down.

Ok, I just realized that picture with Beasley and Romo was the day after the OP :bang2::bang2::bang2:. But here's 2 pics of Beasley the same day as OP and its pretty clear legs are still smooth and he went with no gloves that day.

He's tiny, extremely quick, and has great hands. He is what he is and I think there's a place in this league for a guy like him. I would not be surprised if he makes the team again this year.

I hope our WRs are:
Bryant
Austin
Harris
Williams
Beasley
Coale
I personally don't want to see 6 receivers, but my guess is it will come down to Coale vs. Beasley? If you add Jared Green in the mix, then you may keep 6 receivers out of the last group? I like Beasley, but his slight build worries me. We need bigger guys in case one of our top receivers miss time due to injury.
