Man, I hate the Eagles

The hatred burns white hot within. The green hue of the Philadelphia Eagle uniform causes disdain when viewed in glorious HD. Even the pristine, pure silver and blue cannot hide that ghastly green.

The ignorance of their fans is second to none and unparalleled. That team from the City of Brotherly Love has won nothing in the modern NFL era.

The problem is that they don't go away. Andy Reid has had that team competitive year in and year out. Reid is the only fragment of that pitiful franchise that I actually respect. Ugh...I feel dirty, I feel like I've just bathed in a vat of used, discarded grease. Let's be honest, the Eagles have had their way with our Cowboys for the better part of 10 years. I reveled in the playoff victory against them, but that was then...this is now.

I want the Philadelphia Eagles pulverized.

I want this team angry.

I want this team to be offended that they have to compete against this inferior organization.

I want the Philadelphia Eagles systematically dismantled on the football field.

I want Romo to have his best game of the year.

I want the defense to cause multiple turnovers.

I want DeMarcus Ware to slap the taste out of Vick's mouth.

I want Bruce Carter to feed on Shady McCoy.

I want our punter to fall asleep on the bench.

I want to see DeSean Jackson do his best Todd Pinkston impression when crossing the middle of the field.

I want the OL to give huge holes to Jones, Tanner, and Dunbar, and whomever else carries the rock.

I want Felix to remember his playoff game performance vs. these never were's.

I want Jason Garrett to call the best game of his career.

I want this team to line up and punch the Eagles square in the jaw.

I want the Cowboys to end the Eagles season on Sunday.

I want the Cowboys to begin a historic run to the playoffs.

It can begin on Sunday...it will begin on Sunday. The Eagles will lose.

I have a difficult time fathoming why those that dwell on negativity continue to post or visit their team's board. Why put yourself through it? Why peruse through news clippings or message boards if you continually have disdain for the state of the franchise?

I'm as angry after a pitiful loss as anyone, but I absolutely love this football team and have ever since I can remember. I keep coming back. It's my escape from the daily montony.

We are all fans of the Dallas Cowboys, I know, but why not show a little gumption? We are playing the PHILADELPHIA EAGLES this weekend!
