We will see how this works out.

The NFC East is really piling up those WRs

Manningham doesn't look like he runs a 4.6

damn, damn, damn

Classic Boom or Bust pick, IMO.

Is he another A Bryant? I guess we'll find out in a year or two.

No he doesn't.

NFL Draft Countdown has him as the #5 WR and that he runs a 4.45

A Bryant is a good comparison

Don't worry. We gave Manningham to the Giants, but Jerry got us an extra 4th round pick in 2009!

And there went Caldwell to the Bengals.

All the spin in the world wont change it. Manningham was a steal this low. Jerry blew it again. Sam Hurd and Myles Austin must be some hell of recievers.

Hate to see this.

I'll be putting Manningham on the list of WRs we shouldn't have passed on.

I guess Jerry is pretty confident that we've already won the Super Bowl because we apparently don't need any more players from this years draft.

We just traded out of the 100th pick with Oakland!!!!!

Not only that, but several players that would have given us fantastic depth have gone off the board in the last 7-8 picks.

LB Philip Wheeler, G Chad Rinehart, OG Oniel Cousins, CB Tyvon Branch, CB Justin King...

Can someone explain our strategy of trading out of everything here? Is the 2009 draft supposed to be SO MUCH BETTER? What are we doing?

I'm getting sick watching the rest of the league and the division improve while we pass on Mendenhall and get cute on the second day. Unless we're creating a package to make a splash on a veteran WR, we are foolish. Forget about next year and get us over the hump! Jeez... this is hard to swallow.

I'm not asking him to do my taxes. I wanted him to catch the football, adn he does that pretty friggin' well.

By the way, love your sig. Big Thomas Paine fan.

The questions is can he remember the play book not all the guys but it seems most that score low struggle because it shows a lack of work ethic nothing more and that is what my concerns are he has that Dewayne Jarret feel to him.
