There is no pressure to kick a 62 yard field goal. If you make it, it its wow what a leg. If you miss it, its that was a long butt kick.

But when trying to comeback, a 40 yard kick in the top of the 4th quarter trailing 21-9 means a lot and is pressure. Last time I checked math 22+3=25 which is > than 24.

In case you aren't 4 years old I guess I should respond in an adult matter. There would be 5 threads the second that kick didn't go through that go something like this...

"If the Cowboys have Maher for his leg, why is he still here if he can't make a 62 yarder under 0 pressure."

Anyone who thinks we win yesterday with any other kicker isn't very smart.

He missed a shorter FG. We lost by 2 points.

He was a factor in the loss. He doesn't get a pass missing an easy FG just because he made one from 62.

Maher gets a pass from me. He got us a free fg. He lost us another fg. It's a wash.

Maher made a 62 yard field goal in New York. That kick goes in 3 % of the time with most kickers not even being able to attempt it. Maher didn't cost us anything yesterday. Falling down by 20 points is what is losing us football games.

We lost by 2 points, and this guy missed a 40 yarder...that missed FG could've been the difference, so he wasn't the sole reason we lost but he played a significant part in the lost as well as that suspect defense giving up a 92 yard TD.

We lost the game when the refs called back a TD to Witten on a god awful "PI" flag. We came out in the 2nd half and looked good. Score would of been 13-21 with 8 left in the 3rd. Play changed the game. The refs in the NFL this season are some of the worst I've ever seen.

We lost the game when Garrett was trotted out as a HC. Find me a humiliating NFL record and I'll show you the next one Garrett sets.
