I just don’t see it. We’ve got Micah Parsons for crying out loud. We’ve go an improved interior run defense, we’ve got speed at LB if Barkley tries and goes outside. We’ve got Diggs and Gilmore and Bland. Our safety position is deep.

On offense we’ve got Dak with 3 legit WR’s, an up and coming Ferguson, solid rookie in Schoonmaker, Pollard and Deuuuuuuuce! Turpin?

We have injuries on the offensive line but every damn team in the NFL has injuries. You don’t just quit and lay down like many here have done. You do the opposite. You adapt and overcome. Go Cowboys with the double digit win!
They need people to bet the Giants

I feel we win on Sunday even if the Smiths are out. I kind of wish we were playing Bass. But I feel we win on Sunday due to defense. Our offense will struggle but will eventually score. I see us winning a low scoring game with Dak and the offense getting it together in the 2nd half. I also think our running game will be a big part of the offense. I say we win 17 to 13.
I got a giant 17 Cowboys 27. If I can reduce it, I’d go Cowboys 24, giants 17.

I really doubt they’ll score more than 20 on us. So I like your 24-17 prediction. I think both QBs will struggle and both running games will have splash plays. But I think our defense will win the slugfest and we get into the end zone and they settle for FGs. I’m not as concerned about our offensive line issues because I think game is going to come down to whose defense is better. That’s why I’m thinking something like 24-17 unless there’s some garbage time scoring at the end. I’m feeling pretty good about this game.

MC is getting all excited for the season. You know his tell? That Wes Veegina slang starts to slip out.

"Of course he don't."

"You wasn't rooting for Garrett."

I thought CZ was leaning positive with this years team! I sure am! Best in a long time.

If we have both lineman out, this will be a great test for MM calling plays to get the ball out quickly and protect Dak. See if he can be creative and score enough points with the Oline in such bad shape.

Everything was looking incredible until the last few days with 2 possible starters out on the Oline. Cant act like it didnt happen.

I’m also thinking the Cowboys can run on the Giants easier than pass as long as they’re willing to stick with it

I am excited to see how McCarthy handles this. When the Packers won the Super Bowl their offensive line wasn’t the best. He’s dealt with this before so I’m hoping he’ll get it done here.

I agree, I’m thinking Pollard is going to have a big day. I also think Deuce is going to break one or two for a momentum shifting play.

Good points. I agree, I don't get it either. It is extremely negative here on this forum, which really surprises me. I look forward to the first game of the year all spring and summer. We are a better team than the Giants. Whats to not feel good about?

You don't see it because it has not happened...you are thinking what you want to see.

Are you so big of a homer that you can't even talk about problem areas for the team?

Are you soo offended? What is the point of even being on here if you cant talk football?

That's because you only want to talk about what you think is in you head, the rest of us you put on ignore.

Cope.

Depends who you have backing up.

Those MM teams also had Rogers in his prime. We dont have Rogers.
Very true. That makes a huge difference having one of the best QBs of all-time. It masks a lot of weaknesses and makes all around him better. Look at The Pats, they are just another team since Brady left.

Media picking the Giants because they are a trendy team right now. To me I see a team that went 3-6-1 last season after a 6-1 start (with some fluky wins).

Don't get me wrong, the Giants are better coached and more talented than the bottom dwellers they've been for the better part of the past decade. But if the Cowboys come out and play clean and play their game there's no reason they can't start 1-0 with at least a ten point win.
