yea why couldnt it be TG?? or crayton....or Hurd...or Witten..or Miles..even Skyler Green...

I blame Owens for that drop, he HAS to make that catch !!

We probably win that game if he does.

But I think he catches it 9 out of 10 times.

And I think all of the players you list above could drop a pass too.

But it was Owens and he dropped it.

I am very encouraged by Romo, let's hope the others get it together.

I don't. With every game he plays like this one, he ensures more millions in his contract. He's going to be the man for many years in Dallas.

I understand the premise of the thread, but I disagree with it. This was just as much of a team loss as it was a team win with all the kisses and hugs going around last week.

Romo had a good game, but it wasn't perfect. No, he wasn't a critical factor in this loss, but it doesn't mean a bad read or throw by him didn't affect the outcome just as much as some of the others.

They win as a team, they lose as a team.

Replace the name warner and I agree.

I agree with the O-Line, as for Free Safety I think Watkins can still pan out, he has the physical ability, just needs to learn.

Find a way to sack the QB I agree. I don't care who the DC is as long as we can get to the QB.

Would like to have Earnest (LeBeau) from Pittsburgh if cowher moves on this year.

I think the only reason the name Warner pops up it because he is like a "player/coach." He has done well bringing up young QBs when he's been the backup (Bulger, Manning, Leinert). Trent Dilfer would be good in this capacity as well.

I don't know if it's our pass rush or the coverage we were playing today. We played a lot of cover 2, and a lot of the passes you saw was the 15-20 yard underneath stuff that you can run all day with the cover 2 (I hate that coverage anyway). Then there were a couple of trick plays that caught our D off guard, and I blame this on our coaching staff not having these guys prepared. And while Roy Williams has 3 or 4 picks this year, everytime I see him in coverage you get nervous. We desperately need a ball hawking free safety and OL.

Maybe the team was not focused all week. Maybe that's the reason Parcells called practice early on Friday. Pure frustration.

I really don't think that pass is what did us in. I think it was the missed 2 point conversion in the first quarter.

We kick the field goal instead, and the game is 20-19 in the fourth quarter instead of tied. Our D held them on their last offensive possession. We would have run out the clock in the last 2 minutes instead of trying for the field goal.

I dont know how people can say Romo played a part in our loss. What did you expect Woody Girl? 36-36 350 yards 4 td's 0 ints?

I understand where she's going and wouldn't say she's laying any personal blame on Romo. You win as a team and you lose as a team. I totally agree. With that said, I am excited to know that Romo will be leading our beloved Cowboys on many many scoring drives for years to come.

Of course not. Bleu got my point. I'm not saying he was instrumental in the loss, I'm saying he doesn't deserve an apology for other players mistakes either. His three INTs in the Giants game was very instrumental in the loss, and no one was posting on here that he needed to apologize to the team for it. I mean, who's to say had he made a better throw here and there that wouldn't have kept a drive alive. Nobody knows. But he played a good game.

Overall, Romo played well today. Not going to knock that. But being that he's only started two games, I'm still not going to annoint him the next anything. Been disappointed too many times before, so I just hope he keeps it up.

Kid comes in to a divison rivals house and plays his heart out.

Only to be let down by vets.

Owens drops a ~75 yd TD bomb.

Roy drops a sure pick.

O-Line doesn't give him much time.

11 penalties

Can't block well enough for a GAME WINNING field goal.

Romo would have been 25-36 for 360 yds and 3 TD's if Owens catches that pass.

I feel bad for Romo.
I feel bad for the whole team. This was a frustrating lost.

Romo certainly played well enough to win.

IMO, there were two very highly paid veterans who earned only about 70 - 80% of their paychecks today. Superstars who are supposed to deliver in the clutch. If either one of them delivers, the Cowboys win. But neither could.

I don't know that they should apologize, but they should be embarassed.

I was eating dinner with my fiancee a few days ago.

We were talking about the Cowboys and, without thinking, I jokingly said how I've become a Romo sexual. Now, she knew exactly what I was talking about.

The couple sitting across from us, however, didn't. Suffice it to say I was cracking up pretty good overe what they might have been thinking.

With that said, this kid continues to amaze me. The qualities he displayed today weren't just those of a "good" quarterback, but a great one.

What impresses me is that even when he DOES misfire on a pass (yes, even the great quarterbacks aren't always perfect), he comes right back. He never gets down. Combine that with his gritty leadership and pure smarts and I think we've got ourselves something more than just a run-of-the-mill starter.

I'll try my best to hang my hat on this guy's performance and not worry too much about the loss. I want to be happy about something, ******.

But not one of our other receivers is selfish enough to cost us 15 yards by pretending to sleep in the end zone. Those 15 yards meant nothing to him.

If those 15 yards came off his receiving stats, he'd think twice.
