Manziel

A little short but with where the NFL and the offenses are headed I think he can be a good pro.

He is as accurate as anyone I've seen in college.

Any reason he can't be a great pro?

none.I dont think he will be as good as RG3 but he will succeed as a rookie

He's still a freshman and young, has some growing left. He's got at least a couple years to hone his skills before he declares. As good as he is right now, he could be scary good by the time he comes out. Just have to stay healthy.

He's gonna make college football even more fun to watch the next couple years.

He's so small... Almost reminds me of Flutie, though a better runner.

Maybe he can be a Russell Wilson type, but he won't be able to stroll though NFL defenses like he does in college.

The way the NFL is going though, you may not be able to hit the QB at all by the time he gets there.

One thing you have to love his his demeanor. He's a leader and a real football player. And not all QBs are.

Manziel could definitely use 3 more years in college just to get stronger. If I'm him, I'd make a commitment to stay 2 more years for sure and then see what happens after his junior year.

I really like what I've seen so far from him. It's going to be fun watching his college career.

he is sure fun to watch.

he's a pretty damn accurate passer to go with his wheels.

his vision and speed while running is amazing.

amazing talent.

I think he can be just as good if not better. Maybe I'm being a victim of the moment, but

Manziel FRESHMAN season:
3419 passing 68% completions, 24-8 155 rating.
1181 rushing yards 19 tds

RG3 JUNIOR season:
3501 67% completions, 22-8 144 rating.
644 rushing yards 8 tds.

Rg3 took 3 seasons to perform like Manziel did as a Freshman in the SEC.

I don't see any reason Manziel can't be a future star like RG3 is.

he's elite talent already. He just has "it".
He can get better, but it'll only be for getting his game NFL ready as he's already about 8x better than any other college player.
Any team that passes on him in the draft will rue

Playmaker for sure.

Hopefully he can polish his passing skills. Not bad already, but there's upside to be had there for sure. He has time to do that.
He sure is fun to watch though.

Short, light QB playing in a spread exclusively in a shotgun offense. System QB. Maybe a great fit for the Saints. But id say bad for majority of teams

I think he's going to be great and would be ecstatic if he came here.

I agree. He does have "it"

Great find for the Aggies. He's going to drive SEC defenses crazy for the next few years.

Yes, he has all the tools to succeed at the next level.
I went back and took a hard look at some of his games and can't even believe I questioned his passing.
Plus, he's 200 lbs and growing. He will be fine. And I mentioned in another thread, the kid has gigantic hands and feet. The Cotton Bowl announcers said he was much bigger in person and that his ads were literally like baseball gloves. So he could easily grow 2-3 i inches. My brother did in college.
He's listed at 6'1 right now. Assume 6'0 1/2 ...but growing

He will be a Cowboy someday.

Hopefully not in a Jason Garrett offense. I would hate to see a player like that have the Garrett leash placed upon him.
