Im in two different pools

In one, I have: UNC, Duke, Gonzaga, Louisville...UNC winner (homer pick)
In the other: UNC, Duke, Gonzaga, Kansas....UNC winner

My only question is, why is one a homer pick if you pick the Heels to win it all but the other, which also picks UNC, is not?

I picked UNC in both....beating Duke and the Zags.

But if the Heels dont win it:
the team I least want to win is Duke
the team I'd most want to win is Gonzaga

No worries. I picked the Heels as well. If they don't win it, I absolutely do not want Duke to win it. In fact, I hope that UNC and Duke meet in the championship game.

Gonzaga would be a good choice for me too. WV is probably my top choice in that situation, only because BP would probably be out of his mind happy, but Gonzaga would be a close second choice for me.

Basically, we are two peas in a pod on this one DFW.

I didn't think of Middle Tenn as an upset, despite the seeding, I fully expected them to win that one.

Yeah. Not really Xavier all that much either...even if they were a lower seed.

Honestly, I didn't feel like Duke was all that good. If they all stay, they will be good for the next few years but if most of them are one and done, probably not so much.

They got smoked by Carolina in the final regular season game. They won close games against Clemson, Louisville and ND. They were getting the crap kicked out of themselves by Carolina in the Tourney until Berry got in foul trouble and the tempo changed. They were getting brutalized inside. They only came back because Carolina has issues when Berry is either off the court or not playing well and they got red hot from the 3. They can score and they are pretty good with the 3 ball but they really can't defend the inside game very well at all and they play really poor transition defense IMO. Two things that you almost never used to see from Duke. JMO
