Unfortunately, we as citizens, will only be allowed to know what is "taught" in the textbooks. The rest is gibberish and all lies!

Besides, who cares that cave drawings show flying saucers and weird figures. And who cares that da Vinci drew flying saucers in his paintings. And who cares that NASA deletes hundreds of photos depicting UFOs next to the Space Station.

Oh yeah, the Economy is good also. Because they said so.

The trader told Polo of a land that was a 40-day voyage east from the peninsula

Wouldnt that statement suggest that others had already made the journey?

At this point, it might be the Decalogue Stone. That dates back to the 10th Century BC, which would predate any Polynesian exploration, estimated to be around 700 AD or so, I believe.

IIRC, tobacco and cocaine was found in mummys a few years back? If that is right, than that is proof of early travel and trade to the Americas

No, it proves the aliens visited different parts of the world at the time.

Many historians don't believe Marco Polo even made it to China. His travelogues don't even mention rice, foot-binding, chopsticks, Great Wall, and tea drinking. Kind of hard to miss those if you were really there.

Or any of the surviving Chinese documents mentioning him.

From what I understand, Polo wasn't the first European to visit China. He was just the first to provide detailed written records. Maybe he just recorded other people's experiences and passed them off as his own.
