One of the greatest figures in Modern History. Extraordinary life, if you ever have the opportunity to read her story, it's worth the read IMO.

Born - October 13th, 1925 ~ Died - April 8th, 2013

Rest In Piece Margaret Hilda Thatcher

I don't think your opinion is universal. The statement is strongly political as Ms. Thatcher was a particularly divisive figure in the U.K.

Nothing at all political about my statement other then the fact that she was, at one time, the Prime Minister of the UK. There is much, much more to her life then just that.

Don't sully this by making it political please.

My Sig says it all.

Great Lady ..... the world is a poorer place with you gone.

I was pointing out how your tribute could be construed as political by some.

Of course, you are the mod so if you posted it, that must mean it is ok.

No only you would think it is political.

She was an extraordinary woman. Nothing wrong with checking out her history and accomplishments.

I saw it as political as well, calling her one of the greatest figures in history is certainly a political statement given she is only known because she was a politician

So if someone put up a pic of say, Che Guevara or Lenin saying they were the greatest people in modern history would that be a political? If not, why not, if yes, how is that different?

I can see that this will be political no matter what.

Pretty Sad.
