To be fair....
We did lose Antwuan Woods that game
Woods also played poorly in the colts game

Honestly, I think people focus on size too muchNot that simple, though I'm sure you weren't saying that all the Cowboys have to do is plug in some 330 lb DT in the game and it's instant success.
The Rams starting DTs in the 2019 playoff game were 320 and 300 lbs, total 620 lbs. Dallas' starters, Woods and Collins were 312 and 308, total 620 lbs. Gee, same difference. And 320 is 8 lbs more than Woods, I hardly think 8 lbs is a huge difference maker.
The best DT in the league right now, by most sites, is Aaron Donald, 6-1 and 280 lbs, by NFL.com. Gee, how come the Rams don't get blown out in the running game? Some here wanted Suh, he's 313 lbs, one more than Woods. Whoopee.
Point is size is nice, BUT you have to have more than size, no point in putting a 330 lb lump out there who can't run 2 feet in less than 2 seconds, they just run past him.
Of course it's easier to find a heavyweight than a Donald, no question. But I don't think the Cowboys' DTs are just too light to do the job, coaching probably has more to do with lack of playoff success than lack of size on the DL...
Agreed the defensive coaching lost us the Rams game more than personnelThe Rams won with their blocking scheme.
Switch defensive rosters with the Pats and the Pats still win and the Cowboys still lose those playoff games.
Yup. It's not about size, it's about leverage and build and the ability to anchor and/or push the pocket.Honestly, I think people focus on size too much
And should emphasize the need for talent .Both suh and Donald were both first round picks. I’m not saying the cowboys have to spend a first round pick on a defensive tackle but maybe it would be smarter to actually draft a dt rather than wait and pillage other Teams practice squads for one . I know they drafted hill in the second but I’m referring to a few ne tech dt.The cowboys could have drafted Bennie logan who was available until the third round in the 2013 draft. Ironically the cowboys could have drafted both antwuan woods and Christian Covington but choose not to. The cowboys have to stop the idea that any random person can play the one tech. After all , Rod had the bears spend a second round pick on Stephen paea
