I bought into him and thought he had "gotten it", I was wrong too.
LOL. Learn from it.

They say it was a bar fight but Moore wasn't at fault...........it was the Thursday night before the SF game ........ he was named inactive for that game
Lot of excess Garbage
being tossed this week I like it
Now rod be a man get up there jump in Jerry's face and tell him how you feel about this move
Please
Whatever the off field incident was, it sounded like it was sufficient reason to part ways and that Moore knew he screwed up. Kinda curious to know the details here.
Didn't hear anything about Ben but it probably had something to do with us controlling the clock for most of the game........ the D wouldn't face as many snaps and the rotation could handle less guysInteresting. Yeah, somebody--Broaddus or Mickey or one of them--alluded yesterday to Moore 'knowing he was in the wrong' about whatever it was.
It's a shame. He wasn't an impact player, but he was a guy I thought had a chance to make a surprise contribution for us this year. If the story is true, though, no issue with his release.
What's the deal with Mayowa, then? Any chance the two of them were together? It's strange to sit two active vets at the same position the same week to give their snaps to an underperforming rookie when neither guy did anything particular on the field to earn deactivation.

Taco did go from 8 snaps vs GB to 38 vs SFYeah, but to have him inactive? I could see not playing him in that game to get Taco the snaps, but it seems like something is up there, too. Either he's getting a kick in the pants like he got last season, they're making the conscious decision to up Taco's reps, or something happened outside of football they weren't too happy with.
I don't think I've ever heard Marinelli say anything negative about a player. Has he ever said someone wasn't doing his job?
Awesome now I know it's correct LOLThere are so many things that I disagree with about this post I'm not even sure where to begin.
In the middle of this interview they asked Marinelli about Demontre Moore. He said he was doing fine but Garrett made the decision to cut him.
They only had 7 DL active. They've always had 8 active in the Marinelli era.Yeah, but to have him inactive? Never...
Just one time I'd like to hear him say...the guy sucks.. Just one time.
Hell...he probably still thinks that 0-16 Lions team was pretty good.

This is the FO telling Marinelli play Taco. Nothing more nothing less folks.
That may be possible. Taco really hasn't shown anything to merit getting the snaps, at least based on what we are seeing in live games.
