You CANNOT beat these great QB's by rushing 4 and sitting back there.

Finally, when we were down 30 he started taking chances and blitzing. Without Adams to help burn the blitz, it should have been a heavy part of the game plan. But Marinelli doenst like to do it.

Someone mentioned this earlier. For a guy like Jerry that loves to "gamble, and "roll the dice" he sure picked two of the most conservative guys in Garrett and Marinelli. Both like to take little chances and play irt all close to the vest.

This team needs to be aggressive on both sides of the ball and just let the chips fall where they may.

Yep.

Couldn't agree more. Dallas only lets its defense loose when its desperate and when they do, they are usually effective. That first half where GB did whatever it wanted was coming. Dallas relies on teams shooting themselves in the foot too much and when they don't, the bend but don't break defense bends all the way to the endzone. Dallas should start games the way they played the 4th quarter against GB. More people in the box, more aggressive playcalling, etc.

Overall, the entire coaching staff is horrific. I'm starting to wonder about Moore too.

As has been the case for the past several years, you don't fire the coordinators and let them keep taking the fall for the incompetent HC. If Rod goes, JG has to go with him. No exceptions, no excuses.

I don't think Marinelli is really coordinating the Defense. I think it is Richard and he is sucking....

Dallas plays a Bend But Dont Break defense....has since 2013.

the Legion of Boom was not a BBDB.

Marinelli is running the D.

The Bend But Dont Break defense cannot be understand.

Only Marinelli knows how it should work.

IMHO, Marinelli should have been fired after the Rams disaster in the playoffs.

He skated on that. somehow.

Not sure about that one. I would like to know the answer to that. But we know that Marinelli controls the Dline and he like to rush 4 and thats it. We have seen a lack of blitzing all throughout the Marinelli era.

Alrighty then!
(His contract is up after this year.)

Who you gonna blame next year?

Yeah I am only going by the screenshots of him calling the defensive plays. It sure looks like he calls the D to me. So he gets some blame.

Clean out the entire house for all I care.

Whoever hasn’t addressed our weakness in the middle of the defense at NT and S should be fired. Is that on our front office or coaching staff?
