My gut feeling is, not all 3 will be here next season, one of the 3 will either be traded or released.
All three are under contract, why get rid of one?

]Releasing Marion is an option [/B]with his heavy contract and the cap-free year, but I believe someone would offer up atleast a 3rd round pick for him.

No it's not.

No way we release one of them. Not sure there is a a market for Barber.

If say, the 49ers offer the 15th pick of the draft for one of the three, you tell me you wouldn't accept it considering you have two more running backs that are way above average? Of course you would.

Except that would never happen. Even getting a 3rd for him would be doubtful.

Try something a little more realistic. The 15th overall pick for MBIII?

Who are our two way above average backs?

Because it's hard to root for three good players at the same position. One or two has to suck in the process.

I was using Marion as an example.
And if the Raiders gave us their next 20 1st round picks I'm sure we would trade Austin, but that would never happen. That's not a good argument for trading him.

Ahhh yes I forgot he missed that one game so I was thinking that NFL.com had not yet updated his stats with his 16th game numbers. I'd forgotten about the missed game. My bad.

yeah lets be realistic we aren't getting any premium picks for our backs this offseason and there is no way we realease any of them.
I'm fairly confidant all three backs are on our roster next year.
