To simplify, you've stated an exact reason for this event happening, without actually being there, or being involved in the situation, as far as I can tell.

So, if you are such a great seer, I'd like you to pick winning lottery ticket numbers for me.

Someones butthurt.

You dont carry a loaded firearm into a church with 3 magazines and speak in tongue when youre sober.

Hey genius, you know the UT Austin shooter (The tower guy) had an astrocytoma on his brain that caused him to act completely bizarre and erratic, right? When he'd never done so before?

But yeah, obviously it HAD to be drugs.

Actually, you have no idea why they committed suicide and thats pretty arrogant to think you know why they came to the decision to take their own life.

"Individuals with CTE may show symptoms of dementia, such as memory loss, aggression, confusion and depression, which generally appear years or many decades after the trauma."

"Seau committed suicide with a gunshot wound to the chest in 2012 at the age of 43. Later studies by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) concluded that Seau suffered from chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), a type of chronic brain damage that has also been found in other deceased former NFL players."

"Clinical symptoms of CTE are only beginning to be understood. They are thought to include changes in mood (i.e. depression, suicidality, apathy, anxiety)"

Andre Waters is another example of a guy who committed suicide who had brain trauma from playing football. While I dont KNOW that Junior committed suicide due to CTE, some of the major symptoms of CTE is Memory loss, confusion and depression. Any and all of those are reasons people commit suicide. Just saying.

And MB3, if he suffered, could very well walk into the wrong building not knowing where he is (Memory loss) with weapons(aggression) and speaking non-coherently(confusion). I don't think you have to immediately point to drug use, especially in a guy who has never publicly had an issue with drug use.

It doesn't have to be a matter of sobriety. I'm not sure if you have ever been around people with brain injuries(My mother in law has severe brain damage) and they are not rational.

Just to clarify, this is a followup for his arrest in June when he was detained. Now we know the story of what happened.

I thought this was new and that he'd had another episode.. Not that it was just an update to the situation that happened in June..

Just to reiterate what I said earlier, the Cowboys took him under their wing and is providing support similar to Brent.

Thank you for a non sarcastic remark, it's refreshing to actually have an objective discussion on The Zone. The causes and symptoms of CTE are entirely speculative, which your article shows and was really my point. I mean they say, in the article, that the symptoms are even now just beginning to be understood.

For me, saying "CTE caused it" is purely speculative. Similar to saying someone from liver failure died from taking tylenol every day, but you didn't know they downed a fifth of vodka every night. Correlation does not equal causation, but I do agree that banging your head around for years probably isn't healthy.

Also in most mental conditions, symptoms fester long before a breakdown, if this was caused by that. You don't just wake up one day and you have no idea where you are, carry a firearm into a church, and speak incoherently. In my experience with family members with mental illness, at least.

The drug use was basically just a hypothetical and was more an offhand comment by me. My point was *no one* knows why they killed themselves, and blaming CTE seems like a lazy identification when there could be underlying symptoms that could be addressed.

Looks like Marion finally smoked himself ********.

Had a buddy at UM that worked at a fast food joint Marion would come into on occasion. He knew Marion and his entourage were rolling up when he saw a cloud of smoke in the parking lot.

CTE doesn't make you belligerent and carry 51 rounds into a church. He was obviously on something.

You think weed did this?

NO - NOT DRUGS - It has been said Marion is the poster child for post concussion syndrome. He doesn't leave his place, people bring food to him, he's disoriented and skittish. People are very concerned for him and he needs help immediately. I will try to find a link but I wanted to get this in before it takes an ugly turn.

I wish him well.. sad to see his mental is not stable at the moment.
The mental is more fragile than many understand....
I appreciate how much he gave to us as a player, and acknowledge that his head first style could possibly have played a part... although it could be something else as well..

How do young men with millions of dollars and opportunity keep ruining their lives?

Not so sure that's fair to say, it's obvious he is not in a clear mental state and my guess would be he is dealing with brain issues from football, I just pray he doesn't do anything foolish and harm other people.
