Loved the Marist Liafau pick because he was a stud at Notre Dame just like DeMarvion Overshown was at Texas. What is stunning is how quickly Damone Clark has become an afterthought, especially since he was a stud at LSU.
exactly. Glad we didn't take Brooks or any rb from that draft class.. They haven't done much of anything really. The LB pick looks smarter by the day. Only way to get better is by playing and now he is getting more reps. I hate what happened to agent 0 but this kid is no slouch either. It would be crazy talk if we somehow won out and snuck into the playoffs after the huge rash of injuries, we have sustained to many key players. From this perspective, how would we NOT bring back MM? I want him gone but HOW could we not bring him back if this happened? Most coaches may have lost the team. Its clear now he hasn't. That in itself is impressive. Seems like he has kept it glued together with duct tape. I like how we hve fought hard over the last month or so. The D has CLEARLY improved, even with missing a ton of key players. Good on old man Zimmer, I cant bash him for it, he seems to have alot of players buying in to his scheme and they love the guy. That much is clear now. It really wasn't early on. How many take aways do we have now? Kinda seems like we have alot. Do we play Philly next?

He took some questionable angles on a few tackles, also had some questionable tackles ? But, flashed a lot of good. Thumbs up
Thats my only knock on him. Sometimes he over pursues, TOO FAST. With time, he will understand the speed of the game and how you need to pursue.

He did....looked like he was having fun and knew his assignments.
I followed him because I’m a Notre Dame fan. And that was the only kick on him, sometimes he just loses his way. With right coaching, he could be a superstar.

Funny how quickly we’ve built a solid LB group, when healthy
Right here and now, this rookie linebacker needs to allow nothing go to his eye sight, but team interactions and play. Healthy, this defense has a very strong group. The draft can help it further.

The present group of defensive better show leadership that grows this very group. Teach them coaches!

Marist seems to have some dog in him. We need more of that. If Overshown can make it back one day, can we get them both on the field at the same time?
Are we admitting there is some thought being affective to players filling needs and with some talent? Time on carpet is showing some returns. A valid indicator of team values.

He’s a liability playing at LB. Honestly he’s a tweener and probably has a fairly low ceiling due to that. Good part time player but he shouldn’t be starting.

this healthy Defense got destroyed against the saints; and the last few teams we have been playing suck offensively except the Bengals
more excuses for not making major changes from the Jethro Bots
