We'll need the spend the money we save by cutting Romo to get a QB who isn't in the same league as Romo.

It doesn't matter, Romo isnt a back up. He will not want to be a back up, hes a competitor. Its not the fault of the front office that Romo is too good to sit behind Dak and that Dak is too good to have his career placed on hold.

The QB has an impact just like any other starter, so why play a lesser player? The team probably wouldn't win, just like if you replaced Zeke with McFadden or Morris, or Lee with Hitchens or Gachkar or whoever.

If anybody on the Cowboys should be MVP, it should be Zeke. There's a noticeable difference when other RBs are in compared to how it looked when Romo was in. Unless you are saying that the starting QB of the team with the best record should win MVP every time.

RBs rarely win MVP. Dak won't win, but should.

I remember Sanchez's first two years in the league. There were people on this forum arguing that he was a better QB than Romo. Fun times.

Sanchez's relationship with Prescott will keep him employed in Dallas for years. He is close with the starter and will likely be his backup next season.
