Do we really want to risk DAK and Zeke with injury when nothing matters in the standings?

Detroit is fighting for their playoff lives and will pull out all the stops to win.

Philly next week always gives us everything we can handle.

This franchise would be incredibly gullible to play our 2 best players in these remaining games.

One injury to either player and we are one and done in the playoffs.

Romo is leaving..Play him.

Morris is probably leaving..Play him.

Sit Witten and play Escobar.

If any of those guys get dinged..No problem.

Let's not mis-manage our best opportunity in 20 years to win a SB.

I know we all have opinions..But now is not the time to add suspense to a great season.

The three games where the team had a bye week or close to it, they struggled. One before the start of the season, then lost to the Giants, the bye week we needed overtime to beat Philly, and after a 10-day layoff we loss to the Giants again. And you want our guys to rest for nearly a month. I'm glad Garrett's the coach and not guys on this board.

I was at Fed Ex in 2007 when they played Romo for a half and then rested everyone. Does anyone remember what happened after that? It was ugly. We played like crap because we were rusty and lacked focus.

Should we put them in bubble wrap?
Not sure I understand.

If DAK and Zeke were injured and had to sit for 3 weeks to recover..

We would be all in on that.

When you have backups available like a Romo and Morris..

And you are paying them millions to hold clipboards..

What sense does that make?

Treating whole playoffs like a bowl game is dangerous.

Glad I'm not making the decision.

That's was Cabo-gate.

The distractions from that were disastrous.

And Romo played one of his worst games ever.

The only other one that as worst was vs. the Pack and Farve.

This is not a distraction to not play them.

It's called team management.

Why are you so scared? Don't you want them to stay hungry and sharp? If they rested and came out flat in first game and their excuse was the layoff you would be calling for someone's head. Relax please and watch your team roll. Damn!

You're supposed to be getting your starters ready for the playoffs not your backups. You can't allow your starters to lose their edge and collect rust for three weeks. To keep your starters sharp and playing well they need to play some.

Why do you not understand that we cannot have our star guys sitting for 3 weeks. That is a guarantee loss in the divisional round

Not scared.

Just wise, bro.

There is another player named Jaylon Smith who may have lost his career getting injured in his last game.

I am not like many who think we are so good we can take chances in order to win.

There's nothing conclusive to show that resting players makes them rusty.

My guess is it comes down to coaching. Do you trust JG to get the team motivated after resting what would be 3 weeks?

At the very least it's a good time to lighten up Elliot's load.

I agree.

If they come out a little rusty in the first half..

It should smooth out by the end of the game.

Yep.

Saw it.

We need to stop floating balloons that we are invincible.

You're wanting to sit Dak and Zeke out the rest of the season which would make it three weeks until they play their next game. You can't do that especially with Dak who needs to stay sharp.
