Marriotta out. RG3 concussion protocall

You're wanting to sit Dak and Zeke out the rest of the season which would make it three weeks until they play their next game. You can't do that especially with Dak who needs to stay sharp.
I'm trying to win a SB not get rookie rushing records or pimp DAK for MVP.

Yes you can sit them and get ready for the playoffs healthy.

This is all new ground for us but let's not lose our egos over things.

We are very vunerable as a team based on a QB and RB that get lots of snaps.

We need to cautious.

Not sure I understand.

If DAK and Zeke were injured and had to sit for 3 weeks to recover..

We would be all in on that.

When you have backups available like a Romo and Morris..

And you are paying them millions to hold clipboards..

What sense does that make?
Not playing an injured player is not the same as sitting a healthy player
And a rookie at that
I'm all for getting romo so reps but Dak needs reps too

It's not about rookie records or pimping Dak for MVP, it's about keeping him sharp and playing well. You can't sit players for three weeks and expect them to be sharp for the playoffs especially your QB.

Injuries can happen at any time. They could just as easily get hurt at the beginning of the playoffs which is arguably worse due to the lack of preparation available.

Everyone needs to stay sharp and play at least most of game.

Romo needs reps. And he needs to look good.

From what I gather this season, Dak plays better when he feels Romo as a possibility.

Another thing you have to remember is Dak still needs to gain experience so these last two games are valuable to his maturation process. You're not only trying to keep him sharp but you want him to continue to develop and gain experience.

You have to play them period

They are young kids and need the reps luckily we have proven vets behind them. But they'll be fine

Not scared.

Just wise, bro.

There is another player named Jaylon Smith who may have lost his career getting injured in his last game.

I am not like many who think we are so good we can take chances in order to win.

what about the long layoff? Any concerns there?

Pats have an easy run to the superbowl now:

Connor Cook
Matt Moore
Alex Smith
Tom Savage
Trevor Siemian
Only the Rapist and Flacco pose a threat. The Chiefs record is really hard to have confidence in. Maybe they can turn it on but I'd take Brady/Belichick over Smith/Reid every time. Crazy season.

Do we really want to risk DAK and Zeke with injury when nothing matters in the standings?

Detroit is fighting for their playoff lives and will pull out all the stops to win.

Philly next week always gives us everything we can handle.

This franchise would be incredibly gullible to play our 2 best players in these remaining games.

One injury to either player and we are one and done in the playoffs.

Romo is leaving..Play him.

Morris is probably leaving..Play him.

Sit Witten and play Escobar.

If any of those guys get dinged..No problem.

Let's not mis-manage our best opportunity in 20 years to win a SB.

I know we all have opinions..But now is not the time to add suspense to a great season.

This is such a weak strategy and mindset. Very melinenial like.

If you play and/or act scared you will get hurt. Scared money don't make no money.

This is the same philosophically as playing not to lose instead of playing to win.

These games are meaningless.

I would give it a pass and tell the team they have earned some time off?
