This is really nothing new, but he has reached a new low today. Every chance he gets, he jumps on Irvin about the Cowboys. His last comment really rubbed me the wrong way.

Irvin was asked about who the most vulnerable team is in the NFC Playoffs. Irvin responded by saying it is the Saints.

Faulk then scoffed and said, "it is the team that hasn't won in the playoffs since you were playing."

Irvin kinda looked at Faulk funny, and someone else on the panel said, "well, he's just answering the queston."

Faulk also said that Dallas hasn't beaten anybody yet, and today is the test. The same thing he said last week, and the week before that.

The plug needs to be pulled on this *** clown.

eh let him be. You guys let the media get to you. Everyone has an opinion, the stronger and different the opinion the better the ratings. The Cowboys draw the most coverage, negative attention get the air. It's simple math.

They dont know any better then we do what is going to happen today or tomorrow.

The guy is a ******! I am over his Cowboy hating rantings. Irv should just slap the **** out of him!

They were doing everyone's predictions ad before they even picked I said "Mooch and Michael will pick Dallas and Marshall and Warren pick the Eagles"

It's like a script.

Exactly. Get over it.

You gotta have thick skin to be a Cowboys fan.

Hasn't beaten anybody yet?
How about the Saints 2 weeks ago, who everyone said would whip Dallas? How about the Commanders, who are a bad team, but give the Cowboys hell in D.C. every year?
Screw Faulk.

Please don't get me wrong. Nothing he says really bothers me, but it is interfering with Irvin's comments. He cuts off anyone that says anything positive about Dallas. It is poor professionalism on his part.

It is fine to disagree, but at least let Irvin and others finish making their points.

On a related note, Faulk will need to be placed on suicide watch if the Saints fall short of the Lombardi this year.

I didnt know that beating the Saints and Eagles on the road were equal to beating nobody.

Glad Faulk is there to straighten that out for us.

I don't waste a single second of my time watching these pathetic shows, so I don't know if this has or hasn't happened yet but... has Irvin gotten on Faul for his bull**** yet?

and if not, why not?

I'm certainly one of those that has *****ed about the media, but you're absolutely right, SDogo!

Seriously, Faulk is becoming a joke with his hate. At the very least, he needs to stop cutting off the other folks on the panel that are trying to make a point.

I'll be honest with you, over the past few years all they have managed to do is lose a viewer with me. It's gone from the good old days when they discussed X's and O's to splitting the league into clicks and putting a negative spin on whatever they can.

I know I'm only one person and they could care less but I'm willing to bet I'm not the only one. I have not watched a pre-game or post-game show in probably 5 or 6 years.

If anything once in a while I take a peak at FOX if they have a interview I want to see.

I am forever perplexed at the number of folks who get riled up over analysts' opinions. Who gives a ****.

I am like Hos insofar as I "embrace the hate".

Well, again, I could care less about Faulk's opinion. I know he bleeds black and gold for the Saints.

I do, however want to hear some opinions without that clown cutting off the Playmaker.

Faulk should be careful. Irvin has a history with stabbing necks with scissors.

I guess if the claim is we haven't beaten anybody yet, and todays the test, I find it hard not to say that is contradictory.

After all, the team we're playing today (the test) we already have beaten this year.

It has a lot to do with each person's personality. The more emotional fans (those that have the high highs and the low lows) are probably the fans that let the media get to them most. I'm admittedly one of them. On the other hand, when I calm down, I know that a lot of what they have to say is contrived and served up for ratings purposes and that they don't really know any more about what's going to happen than the average educated fan. There is a lot of logic to the term "embrace the hatred".

:laugh2:

Per most all of the experts, that win in Philly earlier this year never happened, and we will get killed because of Philly's scrub wide receivers and blitz happy defense.

he tried to put words in Irvins mouth....."so your blaming TO for last year?" he didnt say anything about him...

i wonder if they have a behind the scene beef

It's the unprofessionalism that gets to me. Like a lot of others, I have stopped partaking of most of those shows. I just can't stand the idea that networks allow some of the commentary and "analysis" that they do. It's an insult to one's intelligence. I watch on occasion, but I'm always reminded of why I stopped watching in the first place.
