Marshall Faulk: Ware might not be a every down player

I wont even watch the clip. For a guy like Marshall Faulk to say or even imply something like Ware not being an every down player - i mean, that's just stupidity to the highest level. We're talking about Demarcus Ware, a guy who plays the run nearly as well as he rushes the passer, and hustles his butt off every play....this statement from Faulk either proves he doesn't watch film at all and basically babbles on what he thiinks the facts are or he simply has a grudge against DeMarcus Ware or anything related to the Dallas Cowboys.

I just have to laugh at this guy.

It's nothing but him trying to belittle Ware's courageous performance last week.

Irvin and Sapp should have called him on this BS.

I took it as this. He didn't play every down last game,only came in on passing situations. Seemed like he rushed through the segment without fully explaining himself. Surely he can't be that stupid to say he isn't a every down guy. Just giving him the benefit of the doubt. He probably didn't know if Wade would use him in that same role as last week.

We'll never know....but some extra breaks during the game via a breather appears it might have some merit

Could've used a 2 sack/fumble by DWare in the last 2 minutes of 1st Gints game, Denver game, Packer.........something to shut down those late 4th Qtr game winner drives

A fresher DWare, if the NewOrl game is indicative....is a late in the game changer.....

New Orleans was not able to exploit Butler to a child abuse level anyway,
but he does now have virtually a year under his belt of Wades D.
The trade off for a freshlegged Ware late in the playoff run is worth the risk?

it's laughable how much he just refuses to give credit to the Cowboys. Picking the Commanders over us is understandable I mean any givin Sunday right? but to make it sound like are 5 losses were to crappy teams is down right funny. The best thing is if they had a segment asking their panel of 'experts' who the best all around linebacker in the league, the only possible arguments would be for Ware and maybe James Harrison. Faulk would be all over Ware's nuts and start quoting numbers about how no other LBs get as many sacks while also putting up the tackle numbers in the run game, etc.

I don't get worked up over these guys because I know what they are. Former players in the 80ish IQ range who just behave like a dog chasing cars. They go by the last thing they see. He sees Ware have limited snaps in a game and get 2 sacks, and extrapolates his statement of Ware not being an every down player from that. These guys aren't smart enough to look at context or history, but rather only the last thing their eyes have seen or ears have heard.
