Marshall Faulk: Ware might not be a every down player

This is why coaches coach and players play. He has to be one of the most clueless players I have ever seen on TV. Just when you didnt think he could say anything more stupid, boom, he tops himself.

Reminds me of Emmitt. Poor guy was a weekly sounding board of embarrassment on television.

Here's Faulk picking the Skins tonight...

I think Faulk is still feeling that power slam from Ware, lol.

Best Defensive Player in the League? Very good yes. Top 5-6 yes. But "best" this year? Nope.

All the guys are tired and dinged up. I think Wade needs to save Ware as much as possible at least for the Skins.

i gurantee you, if you ask nfl gm's today, who they would take first on defense to build around majority of them would vote ware, with reevis a close second.

In Faulks last season in the NFL...Ware picked him up and slammed him to the turf like he was a high school player...clearly Faulk has not forgotten

oh i love that vid of ware slamming his *** to the ground. I forgot about that, it makes his comments torwards ware and the cowboys 10x funnier

When Faulk first started being a talking head I thought he was pretty decent. This is his dumbest moment. Ware is a dominant football player.

That was damn near the last tackle of Faulk's career. It would have been a great way to send him packing.

So Faulk is a realist?:lmao2:

I am speechless at such stupidity. Geesh, Faulk. It's not worth the air to respond.

Marshall Faulk made a fool of himself talking about the Cowboys in December that he's now trying to make a fool of himself calling Ware a part-time player.

Did Faulk just not notice Ware got 20 sacks last season as a full-timer?

I just have to laugh at this guy.

It's nothing but him trying to belittle Ware's courageous performance last week.

Irvin and Sapp should have called him on this BS.

...if Ware continually suffers from a perpetually fractured wrist, foot and a severely strained neck through his career. He may have to cut back to third down situations.

But for now he seems to be real good.

In fairness to Faulk, Ware didn't play the entire game against the Saints. Could it be that Faulk was still thinking Ware might not play the entire Washington game because of his neck injury?

After reading this thread, I thought too it would be stupid of Faulk to say that Ware was a part-time player. But after hearing his comments, they weren't as harsh as some of you are making it out to be. And without any additional elaboration and considering Ware didn't play a full game against the Saints because of his injury, I think there's room to interpret his comments to mean Ware isn't fully healthy, but he can still make an impact off the bench.

But, hey, why stand in the way of the Rodney Dangerfield aura of this board. ;)

So let me get this straight Marshall: the Cowboys beat the previously undefeated Saints and the Cowboys were exposed? What???? He then calls out Ware and Romo??? What's he smoking?

Anyone else find it kind of funny that he didn't say this last week when Ware was sitting right next to him.

How does he have a job after saying something so stupid that only a 'skins fan would say?

Irvin is right about the playcalling.

Garrett better bring it tonight.

Good Gawd. That might be the STUPIDEST thing I've ever heard on TV. Which is saying something.

To be fair, he did say immediately after that "but it was good exposure".
