Marshawn Lynch VIDEO-we need this man.

He's destined for Green Bay at this point.
Unless they really do trade KGB in a deal to get Moss, then they would probably look at DE.

Carriker maybe?

Anderson?

Moss?

I doubt Adams falls that far.

I would love to see Lorenzo Booker's highlight video. He's going to be a good RB for someone who knows how to use him correctly. Unfortunately he suffered under the nepotism of the Bowdens and their archaic offense, and was never properly utilized. I noticed the Patriots have scheduled a private workout with him. Him paired with Maroney would be deadly.

That was my take. He got run down a lot.

I can't really say that he did from that video. When he did get caught, it looks like they were angled tackles meaning the opposition was already in a position to make a tackle, not just speeding up and catching him from behind. The video is inconclusive in regards to him getting run down. If the video was zoomed out a bit it would help to determine whether this is true or not.

We would need to trade up to get in front of Green Bay to even have a chance.

Yep.

Green Bay wants this guy bad.

The music in the video is from Command and Conquer Generals video game.....if anyone cares. :p:

you know, i'd not mind seeing us try to upgrade the RB position overall. i like jujo and all, but i'm not really "sold" he's a long term answer. apparantely the cowboys are not either or we'd not hear trade rumors due to not wanting to pick up his high salary next year when his contract is up.

it does sound like we're going to do something here and i'd not cry if lynch wound up a cowboy.

like i said on another thread, i wouldn't be too surprise if Jerry packages Jones and our #22, for the Bills #12 pick, in order to pick Lynch before Green Bay. the difference in the value of those picks (according to nfl draft value charts) i believe 420, which is worth a mid 2nd round pick. The bills got a third round pick which is worth 220 and i believe a 7th round pick which is worth around 10 this year as well as a third next year (which if they improve on thier record at all could be worth less than 200).

Would you be happy with this scenario?

im telling u guys.......Chris Henry from Arizona......6'0, 233, and runs a 4.4 40.......he didnt play much in college, but that just means he will come to the NFL with a lot less wear and tear. Considering he would be our 3rd back.....he could make his mark in the kicking game.....

If we dont look at Henry.....I say go after Ramonce Taylor late......he is worth a 6th or 7th round gamble. If he can play like he did in the Championship year for Texas....he will be an awesome pick....I have no worries about his game......my worries are his character issues....but like I said, for a 6th or 7th, its worth a gamble.

NO........we are giving up 2 players for 1 player. I am not sold on anyone from Cal.....I have yet to see anyone come out of that Cal offense in recent years and make an impact in the NFL.....Boller, Rogers, Arrington, or any of the WRs, TEs, or OL....

I don't care if their offense is even a gimmick offense....i only care that their track list of players who go to the NFL tend to not do all that well.

I'm starting to think that as well and if it's the case then nevermind. I like Julius Jones but I think Lynch has it all...

It's funny, I saw some Emmit in him and I saw some Barber in him, but obviously much faster. I would trade Julius and our #22 for him or Peterson. Yea, I like that.

I really like Lynch, but that video wasnt exactly wow material. Lots of getting caught in that vid...

beat me to it, i was gonna say for a highlight video that is nothing particularly special.

what did he run at the combine in the 40?

I'll say it again, Kenny Irons would upgrade our RB position with either a trade down or a second. His strengths are J.J.'s weaknesses, Running hard, rare elusiveness, great moves, shiftiness and fantastic excelleration.

The best thing about Irons is that he is so consistant and gets stronger as the game goes on, I can't say I've ever really seen him have an off game, other than some durability issues.

he runs hard, but he didn't seem very fast. he kind of waddles instead of strides, if you notice. also, his big runs were through some huge holes.

not saying he's bad... but the nfl game is a lot faster, and includes better tackling, than college.

If he drops to 22 we take him or maybe use jones to trade up but htere is no need to give up anything else we have other needs to fill and I will keel over if Jerry gives up another draft for one plyer

cant say I am overly impressed...he may be a good NFL RB, but he isnt going to dominate the league or anything

nothing I saw in that video, or remember from him in the few games I saw Cal play makes me think Lynch is a special player...I also dont think he's any better than what we already have here
