yeah and we put him in the game in the red zone and telegraph what we're doing, pick 6!!
A guy like that opens up the other players, especially in the redzone. You don't have to telegraph the play to him... You just have to keep the defense honest and make them account for him.

If he's been keeping himself in shape, there's no reason why he couldn't still play if called upon. But it all depends on how hard he's been working out, staying in shape.

That said, I still like our WR group. Not everyone can have a 100 yard game every game. I expect Cooks to have a big game against NY. I'd also be tempted to rest Lamb some that game, because the biggest blow this team could take would be an injury to Lamb, imo. In fact, I think that's probably what they're up to. If Lamb goes down, they want a bigger WR on the field...

This isn't really about Cooks, Gallup, etc. Everyone is down on those two guys. And, yeah, Gallup has dropped a few too many this year. But it's not like he's been like that his whole career. Streaks happen in sports. Goes both ways, too. Hot and cold.

He hasn't even been able to stay on CFL teams, what makes you think he can still play in the NFL. Id be shocked if we sign him and ever makes it to the actual roster
