at some point, you have to set a precedent, and hold players accountable,
in other words, send a signal to the players that you arent going to put up with that attitude and misbehavior
its just like at any other job, if you did such a tape, and had it broadcasted, in reality you would be either repremanded or fired for such language, etc
this is a step in the right direction
now, as far as bennett, this will send him a message, you cant misunderstand that,
now also if you listen to bennett he talks about himself being a super hero, etc, so as far as bennett being smart and not dumb, i dont know,
but i do think this was the right message to send, and this is just the beginning from what i am hearing, finally the cowboys front office is waking up and doing something, that starts with the players and sending them that message you arent going to put up with foul bad attitude or somethign like bennett did
thats what jimmy johnson would do, now maybe the players will start to get that message,
next step is for offseasoning conditioning, no more vacations during offseasoning conditioning, you as a player know when the OTAs are, so schedule your vacation time around it, if a player tries to skip it or not attend OTAs fine him too, send that message
next step would be to stop the sloopy playing in training camp and no more soft practices, make the players work
then see where this team goes
