Martellus...

So much of this whole discussion is pure BS. Let's see what the guy does when it matters. My guess is he will be pretty good or he will be gone by the end of the year. Everyone take a Prozac for goodness sakes or buy looser fitting underwear. :bang2:

Alot of people have posted he didn't know the playbook. Where did that opinion come from? I've read that he knew the playbook fine. But that it was his route running that caused Romo to lose faith in him towards the end of the season.

I don't know how they know it, but I would assume so by Romo having to line him up on at least 3 plays that I remember in the last two games of the season (Martellus would kind of wonder to a spot on the filed, Romo had to literally walk away from center, grab him and point him where to go).

What am I saying right now?

If Phillips would not have gotten hurt... He would have caught more balls than MB. Sucks man. Just sucks\\\\. That Dude was/is a player. Hate it. Gotta move forward.

Woulda coulda shoulda

I can't stand Marty B.

But I don't think he's being lazy by not practicing or playing this week.

The kid is hurt.

Watch this video and you notice towards the end he's out there running around in pain. Maybe he came back too soon...

Liar Liar pants on fire. :laugh2:

Answer this question if this happened so often why did they not bench him for the studly Phillips?

Jerry came out and said Martellus doesn't put the work in. He said he needed to "focus" and that he doesn't get down to business like other younger players do.

The guy just doesn't put the work in. Maybe he'll figure it out some day.

Feel free to go back and watch the last two games if you can handle be proven wrong (I doubt you can as it appears you have the intellect of a 6 year old). And the rest of your post is so ignorant as to the way this team functioned last year it makes me wonder if you really ever even watched the games. Good luck with being a fan of ignorance though...

Who are you to say that he can't/won't mature? Do you know him personally? To me, that just sounds like you're making an assumption based on your dislike for the guy.

Oh, just a guess on my part. And if you cannot figure that out than you have a tenuous grasp on what we do here. And that is to opin and discuss.
Correct me if I am wrong.
And excuse the typo: He is more stupid THAN lazy.

You kin go twitter Martellus some more now, cause you obviously know him and know he is not more stupid than lazy.

You never answered the question, if he was continually missing assignments why was he not benched?

You don't play over 50% of the offensive plays as the 2nd TE if you don't know what your doing.

Also while your at it can you explain what I missed about "how this team functioned" because what I saw was this team functioning pretty well out of the 2 TE offense with Bennett on the field.

you do remember how reluctant this staff is to play rookies, remember?
