Alot of people have posted he didn't know the playbook. Where did that opinion come from? I've read that he knew the playbook fine. But that it was his route running that caused Romo to lose faith in him towards the end of the season.

I don't know how they know it, but I would assume so by Romo having to line him up on at least 3 plays that I remember in the last two games of the season (Martellus would kind of wonder to a spot on the filed, Romo had to literally walk away from center, grab him and point him where to go).

Jerry came out and said Martellus doesn't put the work in. He said he needed to "focus" and that he doesn't get down to business like other younger players do.

The guy just doesn't put the work in. Maybe he'll figure it out some day.

Feel free to go back and watch the last two games if you can handle be proven wrong (I doubt you can as it appears you have the intellect of a 6 year old). And the rest of your post is so ignorant as to the way this team functioned last year it makes me wonder if you really ever even watched the games. You never answered the question, if he was continually missing assignments why was he not benched?

You don't play over 50% of the offensive plays as the 2nd TE if you don't know what your doing.

Also while your at it can you explain what I missed about "how this team functioned" because what I saw was this team functioning pretty well out of the 2 TE offense with Bennett on the field.
