you can complain about the Pyatt goal but you can't complain about the Sedin overtime goal.

Still though, as usual Turco lost a first round playoff series.

Well, this series wasn't Turco's fault... he had three shutouts... it was the rest of the team not giving him much offensive support...

Turco didnt lose a playoff series. The teams lack of offense did.

Did you see the numbers? He had 3 shutouts and higher gaa and save percentage than luongo. He was the best player in this series.

Dallas getting put on the penalty kill the whole 2nd period cost them.

Morrow said he wouldnt try and retaliate on burrows and then when dallas is up 1-0 and on the job, he pulls the nonsense takes a penalty and the whole game went backwards.

And for what its worth in three of the losses, ribero, robidas and then yesterday modano hit the cross bar or the post that would have tied or won the game.

Thats how you lose in the nhl, just luck.

With the Canucks new coach this year they have implemented the trap system which the "new" nhl was trying to eliminate. They do not have the most talented defensemen but in that system they work well. Dallas has been outplaying them most of the series they just have to get their bounces.

I also think Turco has been playing great this year in the playoffs and while Luongo is a good puckstopper he doesn't have the puck handling ability that Turco does...which has really helped to break up the Canucks trap.

PLEASE beat the Canucks though. If the world was perfect them and the Oilers would never win a playoff series...or even a game.

A man after my own heart ;)

I have to cut that rhetoric out of my daily discourse at the office but I agree wholeheartedly. If they never won another game, I wouldn't shed a tear.
