So they are trying to tie this together from iron man 1

Iron man 3 connected to iron man 1... Eventually iron man 4?

That's cute how they set that up.

I'm not really following the hypothetical Iron Man 1/Iron Man 4 or Iron Man 3/Iron Man 1, etc. ties. The video showcases The Mandarin, a character previously seen solely in Iron Man 3. Since The Mandarin is a villain from Iron Man's comics sphere, it's logical to assume the video ties with any proposed sequel of the Iron Man movie franchise, which was Iron Man 3. So the only tie I saw from the video is Iron Man 3 to a proposed Iron Man 4 movie.

Uhhhh.... Why not? Lol
You don't like the word "ties" ... How about "connecting the dots"?

The villain in IM1 was from the 10 rings. Mandarin is from 10 rings no?

LOL! My apologies. I must revisit the original Iron Man movie because I'm not connecting the dots. So Jeff Bridges was involved with "the ten rings"..?

Edit: Nevermind. I did a quick Google search. I had forgotten about the people who kidnapped Stark was "The 10 Rings". I guess that's a definite tie-in, lol! My bad.

I don't know all of this first hand. I read the geeks on different forums. Lol

Yeah. That's the scene/movie segment I had forgotten about the rings reference. My first memories all dealt with Jeff Bridges and his character's involvement with taking over Stark Industries.

I must save this date.

The day out-geeked you.

Lol

So is there a real Mandarin out there or just this fake joke of a guy from IM3?

I was reading that there is a real one. In the video you will hear he is mad that this actor claimed to be him.

I also read that the mandarin has/had many incarnations and that somehow they could make Trevor the figurehead.
