Marvez: Cowboys Used Senior Bowl As Intelligence Experiment

And Garrett got the idea from Paul Brown
It's really nothing new in football, just another way to see what a player is capable of

Considering how poorly their side did in the bowl game, it's fair to say it was a failed experiment when your job is to help players showcase their talents, not help them look inept for your own personal evaluation.

A better method would be to give each a cake recipe and ingredients. Can they follow instructions? Can they read? Do they know measurements? Can you operate an oven? All these things take aptitude, mates. But if someone leaves the cake out in the rain, they'll never have that recipe again. Again.

So you want Donna Summer on the squad GTB?

This is NOT true. I've talked to 2 of the players on the North team and Carson Wentz said today in his PC that the playbooks they were given had basic plays in them. Not sure what the disconnect is in this statement or why the kid would say this.

Buzzkill. Ha!

Not one to know about disco, I would not know, mate!

LOL.........

Come on, you know you you had your platforms on with the Nik Nik shirt and the poly bell bottom to head out to the local version of 54 to dance to Donna Summer.

Dang, mate. Thankfully, on "Ready, Steady Go!" rock show (and on the BBC) we had Richard Harris sing that. Blimey! Donna probably ruined it.
And on the instrumental portion of the song, I'd rock out, as they say.
BTW: If you ask me if I were a rocker or a mod, I'd tell you I am a mocker. (RIP Ringo Starr)

You job is to evaluate the players. What they've done on the field is on film
How well they learn new things is not

Not a chance. Harris needs to stick to Camelot.

Hey coach, no playbooks?

You are calling Garrett a liar?

Show your credentials, sir. I demand to know what two players said this.

Your job, coaching an "all star" team in an exhibition game, is most definitely not to evaluate the players.

That's like the coach of the pro bowl deciding to have Peyton Manning run the option offense to see if he can pick it up. It's not the time for that crap.

The whole point of the Sr bowl is to evaluate players

SMH. Yet another nail in the Garrett coffin. The joke gets worse all the time.
