His athleticism is off the charts for his size. He has great hads and explosiveness. One of my favorites as well. But I like almost all the UNC guys. And out of all of them, Quinn is the best.

but we will not have a shot at Quinn - IMO

From the few things that I have read about him , most say he is a boom or bust type of player. I don`t think anyone doubts his physical ability . The bust comments come from his mental game and of the field issues. Does anybody know what problems he has ? He was considered a top DL before the season.

I'm not so sure. Quinn has issues in his background and some scouts say that while he is a great pass rusher, he has trouble getting off blocks once an OL locks up with him. He absolutely has talent but some teams don't like him as well as others. He's probably a better fit for a 34 team the a 43.

I could see him sliding to 9 easily. JMO

Did you think we would have a shot at Dez last year? Most did not.

Quinn will be there at #9

Fairly
Bowers
Peterson
Green
Gibbert
Derus
Prince
Newton

are locks to go top 10.

That leaves, Quinn, Jordan and maybe Heyward as folks that could creep into the top 10. Folks will be scared off by Quinn just as they were Bryant last year.

I don't think Newton goes top 10.

Quinn I believe will not last below San Fran at 7.

This is essentially an 8 player "top tier" draft, with Gabbert being debateable as top tier (would he be top tier in another year?)

From 9 to 22 there isn't much difference at all in the talent

One of the most exciting, intreaguing and scary prospects in the whole draft. Top 5 talent with 2nd round work ethic and 3rd round character. This guy literally could come in a dominant for the next decade or make you pull your hair out for 3 or 4 years till your team just gives up on him.

In the second round I tempted as all hell but I think some team at the bottom half of the first is going to take the risk.

I would not say that Newton is a top 10 lock. I don't know who Derus is. Do you mean Marcell Dareus? If so, then I would probably agree, he is a top 10 pick.
