ARLINGTON -- Matt Cassel started his seventh game as the Cowboys quarterback Saturday night. Unlike his previous six starts, Cassel didn't finish the game. In fact, he barely made it into the second quarter.

Cassel played four series before he was pulled in favor of backup Kellen Moore.

"We had a great opening drive and then there was a play that you never want to see happen again," Cassel said.

If he's surprised then that is part of his problem. If he doesn't want to admit it to the press then whatever but his play is awful. I'm not prone to hyperbole or generalizations but awful fits perfectly.

His passes continue to be inaccurate and mistimed. He has no field presence evidenced by multiple instances of pure panic and wild throws. Intentional groundings capped off by that horrific play where he not only takes a sack when he was outside the pocket but he also takes 10 more yards in reverse.

He clearly has no idea how to read the defense which became very obvious when Moore consistently started finding those open receivers in the middle of the field. Wow Beasley is on the team? Amazing.

He might still be a serviceable backup in a decent offensive system. Our offensive system is well "offensive".

Matt, shut up dude. If you can't see why a team might explore a different option then you're just as dumb as your play said you were.

Aww, poor gmoney, he and Bleu Cheese Star hyped up Cassel so much and now his hero let him down and he's having a hissy fit. And his arch enemy Weeden pulls out the win on the road. I'm sorry your son let you down, Mr. Cassel.

What a dope.

Better than Cassel isn't setting the bar very high.

you can't go back to Cassel's now, just let the fan base have their visions of Moore fulfilled for the rest of the season..

Don't worry Matt.. Weeden won a game in Texas today with Houston and is in the hunt for the play-offs. It's better you get traded then play in this crap offense.

Im sure Weedeater has the most beautifully thrown balls of any Houston QB ever . . . . . . . and now he'll prob get a playoff game check . . . while Garrett watches the playoffs on tv like the rest of us.
