Yep, how many years has the defensive line been patched up with spares that Rod Marinelli claims to have "coached up" - every year it was horrible and somehow in this 1st year where there was no training camp somehow Nolan should have taken garbage and produced a gourmet dinner.

You can blame McCarthy and Nolan for this teams problems but they are merely using what the GM and Owner have given them - basically a team that has no defense.

I’m anti-MM and have been since the day he was hired. He was a comfort hire that was exposed as a fraud in GB. All Jerry cares about is having a coach that will kiss his butt.

So, I agree that Jerry is THE problem. But MM is a bad head coach.

That is true of all franchises not named the Dallas Cowboys. Here you just need to be pals with the Owner and you can play terrible and nothing will happen. I guarantee you next year, Lawrence and Smith will be on this team. Zeke will be here.

So, I agree that Jerry is THE problem. But MM is a bad head coach.

It was always going to be a comfortable hire. I would have loved for someone like Urban Meyer but there is no way Jerry hires a guy who is going to challenge him and that is part of the issue. You cannot run a football franchise like a frat house and expect that everything will pan out.

I didn't read all the tweets but I found it funny that McCarthy seemed to focus his presser on the offense and things he can do better to get the offense rolling early.
