Idk. I guess we'll have to disagree. But I think hasselbeck helps us win NO for sure. It was a close one, and hasselbeck has more poise, more leadership, more experience, and he can make all the throws to keep a defense honest. But we will never be able to prove it one way or another, which drives me insane

I just think Hasselbeck is getting a lot of credit for beating two very bad teams. Sure, NO isn't much good either, but Weeden just wasn't the reason we lost. The guy led a game tying drive late in the 4th. Showed pretty good poise there. Given the choice, sure I would take Hasselbeck, but we lost to NO because we couldn't play defense when we needed to.

Weeden is so terrible. We would be winning right now w matt hasselbeck. Heck cassel prob would do better. Its so frustrating watching the defense ball out only for the O to score 3 pts so far. Oh and for those wh thought that houston is worse than new orleans. Think again. Philadelphia smacked them 39-17

They chose Weeden as their backup. There were better guys available in the offseason. Even some were available early on in the season. Cassel being one of those who they ended up giving up a pick for. Austin Davis is a guy I think they should have pursued.
