Dak had no names WRs playing for him along with his starting LT LG and a RT hurt During 2016 and he played probably his best football during that time.

Dez was hurt
Tyron was hurt
La'el Collins got hurt
Free was battling his injury but played.

And look at 2017 philly did nothing to improve that OL. They signed 2 WRs who's M.O is deep balls for a QB who is a 1 read guy and will stay a 1 read guy because his OL cant block.

Wisniewski who they signed cant clock to save his life.
Warmack is a bust going to a offense who plays a zone blocking scheme which he cant do because hes a power guy

Those are the OL that they signed.
Leary was the starter before collins. Imo, he is better than collins right now anyway. Also, dak had beasley, witten, and the best RB in football.

I am very happy we have Dak. He should do some great things for us. Still, that takes nothing away from the potentially bright future of Wentz. It sucks that he is in our division and we have to deal with him for years to come.

Philly gave up practically nothing for Wentz thanks to the Sam Bradford trade and some other crafty maneuvers

They essentially just gave up their 2nd in 2016 and a 3rd in 2018... but they also acquired an additional 4th this year and another TWO 4ths in 2018

I hate to admit it, but Roseman looks like a genius for how he went about trading up for Wentz and recouping much of what they lost.

It makes me sick thinking about how they got a top 15 pick for Sam freaking Bradford as we watched Romo go for nothing

AND they managed to clear themselves of bad contracts from Bradford, Murray, Alonso and Maxwell along the way

If jerry had done half of this these guys would be erecting statues for him

Collins was the starter coming out of camp

Does he? Wentz looks like a system QB to me. Once teams had tape on him Wentz couldnt complete a pass over 8 yrds is what i saw. He was never a RD1 QB none of those guys were. Its not his fault that philly traded up for a project QB at 2. lol

He had the worst set of skill position players in the NFL last year and his OL was in shambles after Lane Johnson got pinched for drugs.

I think anyone that denies the skill set he has is just applying Philly hate. The kid has legit tools and his ceiling is much higher than "system QB".

Roseman is creative with trades but he has no clue how to put a team together. He is almost as big a jersey collector as Snyder was

But as noted, they brought in a guy who worked closely with Newsome in Baltimore and he's got a lot of input in personnel. It's already showing in FA, etc.

Ill buy it when they actually field a good team. They havent done anything I haven't already seen them do before
