Just an opinion, but I think the kid is gonna be a decent QB in the near future. He played well for us in the pre-season and is doing a good job for Carolina. Wish we could have kept him around.:(

Maybe, but he made some BAD throws tonight. I'm talking passes that even Quincy never thought about throwing.

Not keeping him on the final cut down is the one move this year that I regret. I like this kid.

I believe he could have a future in Carolina, he's a rookie and you will see some "bad" throws from him, it's to be expected. Romo even has some "bad" throws...

Moore played well overall, but Dallas has a tendency to make inexperienced QBs look like world beaters.

For an UDFA in his second start facing a team that has a major talent advantage he had a pretty good night.

If he throws the ball less like a punt, and more like a pass, there's a chance we may lose that game. Smith was behind the defense on that complete/incomplete pass, but had to wait for the ball, and the pass INT/non pass INT on Reeves was similar.

He seems to have some talent, and could push for the starting job in Carolina in another year or 2. Maybe sooner, depending on how well Delhomme returns from his elbow surgery.

I agree. I am not saying he will be Romo or Manning, but I think he has a lot of potential. Time will tell;)

I think he showed good decision making, but showed an average at best arm. His throws looked like rainbows.

He played about as well as he did against Seattle. Watching Moore, it's obvious he's a rookie UDFA. But he shows flashes of something special. Check back in a few years he may be a pretty good QB.

Moore will be worth watching over the next few years. But I wonder if the Carolinna coaches will think so. Romo was a Bill project and his kind of sucess is rare in the NFL. I hope Moore gets a fair shake in Carolinna, I think that is the best we can hope for.

I agree. He makes really good reads.... and scans the field with great efficiency. He'll be good, in my opinion also.

I liked him in preseason too. And the Carolina fans shouldn't walk away from this game with anything but a little hope from his performance. Certainly not terrific, but not bad either given his age and experience.

He may have a future and that's never a bad statement when you're talking about an UDFA coming in and having to start this late in the year.

Yeah, the kid has a future if he is handled right. Romo was tutored and worked on and polished for 3 years. Not many teams are willing to take the time any more.

Why? You can check on it for each time he starts or plays. Quincy was invisible too. I never agreed with that. If he is on the bench for 3 years I'd say this is valid. Right now, he isn't. He's out front and playing not bad at all.

I had thought it better to put stanback on IR and keep moore...or cut stanback and sign him later to the practice squad...which I am still pretty sure he would have made it to...(many team have their own Wr projects)

...Moore was still a part of the equation to win. He put the ball where it needed to be.

If circumstance where different on two plays - Reeves pass defence and Smith's incomplete pass, we would be talking about how this kid is a baller.

You gotta like the way he does take time to see the field. He threw some lousy balls up, but he knew where he was going with it most of the time.
