Matt Moore

...Moore was still a part of the equation to win. He put the ball where it needed to be.

If circumstance where different on two plays - Reeves pass defence and Smith's incomplete pass, we would be talking about how this kid is a baller.

You gotta like the way he does take time to see the field. He threw some lousy balls up, but he knew where he was going with it most of the time.
I can't disagree with any of that DY.

And I really would like having him to back up and learn from Romo, how old is Moore? He can turn into a very good backup and play for two or three years after Romo until we then find another Qb... but maybe thats thinking too far :p

I think there'll be team getting him for the 1st backup, Vikings ? Would he remain as #3 guy ? Probably not.

Just an opinion, but I think the kid is gonna be a decent QB in the near future. He played well for us in the pre-season and is doing a good job for Carolina. Wish we could have kept him around.:(

He is a good prospect. I had him graded as a 3rd round pick on my draft board too.

If Romo doesn't pan out we are going to regret dumping this kid!

Not keeping him on the final cut down is the one move this year that I regret. I like this kid.

So do I.

i like matt moore, he has star written all over him...in the next two years he will get there...wish we had him as a backup at least in case something happens to romo in the future

Moore will be worth watching over the next few years. But I wonder if the Carolinna coaches will think so. Romo was a Bill project and his kind of sucess is rare in the NFL. I hope Moore gets a fair shake in Carolinna, I think that is the best we can hope for.

I don't think Romo was a Bill (Parcells) project. I think he was a Bill (Parcells) sufferance for the first three years. If Sean Payton had not been here, neither would Romo, in my estimation.

Parcells ought to get credit for hiring Payton and listening to him, but not for Romo. Parcells got lucky.
