The guys a keeper for further development. I am pretty sure we can safely put him on the PS. Many teams already have a project QB either making their roster or going to PS.

We could really use the spot for a CB/WR/PR. Stanback doesnt look ready to help so we many need an Urban.

On the other hand Moores impressive. Tough call, IMO.

I hope we find a way to keep Moore....This kid will not make it through waivers.

You dont think? He would have to be very highly thought of for someone to keep on their roster, which they would then have to do....

I certainly dont want to lose him but to start the season I may keep a guy like Urban. See how things shape up.

Unless we put Stanback on PS. I am not so sure he makes it thru either. He had some pursuers prior to the draft.

moore won't make it through waivers. i think we keep 3 QB's. Only keeping 1 kicker and 1 FB will make that possible.

I agree with that!! Why would we even consider 2 FBs! Fasano can always play H back.

I've been saying that since the first pre-season game. I hope we keep 3 QBs on the roster but if we only keep 2 then I'd rather have Moore than Johnson.

Brad will probably still be available if we needed to bring him back for some reason but Moore will get snatched up quick if we try to pass him through waivers to the PS.

No one would even sniff Moore on the waiver wire.

If a team thought that highly of him in the past, he wouldn't have gone undrafted. He's had a few ok preseason games but nothing to make another team go "wow, we have to have him". The only team I'd really worry about would be Denver, only because they've seen what he can do in practice.

If another team is looking for a backup, there will be a few decent ones cut, most notably the loser of Frye/Anderson in Cleveland.

If they're looking for a developmental type to keep on the 53 man roster, Thigpen from Minnesota looks to be gone with the additon of Holcombe and he's probably a better prospect than Moore at this time.

I hope we find a way to keep him. He might earn the starting position during this season or next.

The only thing not working in his favor is that he most likely will be competing against a high draft pick or a veteran for the starting spot next year. If he gets in this season and makes some noise, that will up his chances.

Need I remind you that Romo was also undrafted so that really doesn't mean much.

No one is going to snatch Moore up to be their starter but there are a lot of teams out there in need of a quality young backup and Moore has shown that he has some skills.

Romo?

I don't believe that he would make it thru waivers either.

I am a Stanback fan. But, couple things;

He is a bit raw and taking nothing from him, but he probably wont contribute until later in the season.

If we are taking a shot this year, which I would think we are, a guy like Urban could be extremely valuable. Not only as a wr, but obviously STs. Guys like him are really valuable when a team is loaded with stars. Gamer. Not sure we have another like him.

Romo's slightly different because he wasn't QBing a BCS school but there's a chance that he would have made it through waivers his rookie year.

Who are these "a lot of teams"?

Whenever a team is looking at a situation like this, they have to know who may see that player as an upgrade. As I said, Denver may have seen something in the joint practices but would they really want Moore? Looking up and down NFL rosters of the teams who traditionally keep 3 QBs, I just don't see anywhere Moore is a definite upgrade over what's already in place.

Why is everyone so high on Urban? He hasn't impressed me at all. Even his punt return TD was lucky because of where he fielded the ball. Alot of people would had been furious if he did this against an NFL team's starting special teams during the regular season and got tackled inside the 10 instead of letting in roll into the endzone for 20.

I think the Hurd, Austin, and Stanback have way more potential to cut any of them in favor of Urban.

Oh, and I think Moore will not make it through waivers and we should keep him on our 53. He could be our backup in a year or 2. He's going to be Garrett's project.

I didn't see the game but when I saw the stat-line and it said a "95-yard punt return" I wondered why he was fielding it at the 5-yard line instead of letting it roll in. I figured it must have bounced and he wasn't sure that it would roll into the endzone.

Because he is trying to make plays to be able to make the team.

Keep Moore. He is a young QB that is worth atleast trying to develop. It would be great if we had 2 young QB's on this team. He will not make it through waivers. There are too many teams always looking for depth and promise of a future QB

Exactly.... and..... he has been on display since being undrafted... so eyes are on him... obviously....

Every team is looking for their Romo... its the newest fad
