Wow.......Mandella effect....I could has sworn that he was a self-professed Cowboys fan.

Good to know....
I don’t recall him ever being shot at a Cowboys game. He’s from Uvalde on the border. He might be a Cowboy fan . Most from Texas are but the opportunity to own part of a NFL team is a lifetime opportunity.

It’s no different than a native Texas kid who plays football then becomes a NFL player who plays for another team while being a Cowboy fan at heart. Business is business .

Maybe Matthew will bring Washington to Dallas or San Antonio. We could use another team in Dallas area. The mayor has already lobbied for one.

Yeah, it was just my brain playing tricks on me.

He says he became a fan because when he was 4 he watched westerns with his dad and he always rooted for the natives.

Also, when he was a few years older his favorite food was hamburgers, and he was impressed that the team had a linebacker by the last name of Hanburger.

I have a theory about Texans becoming Washington fans, I know many of hem.

I think it's because it's a way to rebel against authority or expected behavior. They didn't want to be forced into thinking a certain way so they went the opposite way. There's one in every family.

I was born a Cowboys fans and my earliest memory in my childhood are attending and watching Cowboys and football games .

But if I had an opportunity to invest in another NFL team might be tempting . Wouldn’t mean I had to root against the Cowboys.

Bezos is building several of his new warehouses in Texas . Maybe he’s consider moving the team. Who knows and who really cares. And why bash Matthew over it. He’s known as a Diehard Longhorn fan not Cowboy fan.

Uvalde is not on the border. It's close but not on.

Because McConaughey has been considering running for governor of Texas. Definitely not a good look investing in a business for another state instead of the State of Texas.

Just saying. It's not on the border. Definitely much longer than 30 minutes from the border. No need to keep stretching the facts.
Uvalde is close enough to the border for me to call it a town near the border. Don’t take everything so literally.

What does that have to do with anything. Gov Bush had investments all over the world including Saudi Arabia. Lol

This is a futile bashing of Matthew. He’d be a small minority owner anyway.

Turncoat my arse......business is business.. You think Jerry was gonna let him buy into the Cowboys.. I said before, purchasing an NFL team is a no brainer if you have the money. It is like buying real estate. It only goes up in value.
Right

The OP , Erod, is a Sooners fan. He’s just bashing Matthew cause he’s a diehard Longhorn.

Bush was in the oil business, so he had to do business with Saudi Arabia, but his business was in Texas meaning jobs for Texans. What McConaughey is wanting to do is invest in a business in another state that directly profits citizens with jobs from that state, not Texas. Big difference. That's fine. Hope Texans remember if he does indeed buy into the Commanders and later decides to run for governor of Texas.
