I've never seen such pessimism before a game while the Cowboys are leading their division. Good job, "fans".

We are 5-4 and pretty much looked like **** since week four. Not sure where your confidence is coming from.

yeah so we get to play another back qb and lose

Y'all better not start this panicking now. Few weeks ago anyone who said we sucked, and we are not that good.... was a troll and should go root for another team.

Same people are all bent out of shape and miserable.

Keep the same energy

Detroit is now officially the worst overall defense we will have played, coming in at a solid 30th, or 3rd worst. It shouldn’t matter if Stafford was playing or not.

Can't wait for his post game comments.

"I could tell what coverage they were running before entering the huddle".

Is the point of the regular season to be 13-3 or make the playoffs? As Zeke wisely pointed out this week, the point of the regular season is to make the playoffs. Guess what? The Cowboys are still leading their division and in control of their own destiny. Stop whining and be happy you're not a Bengals fan.

The Cowboys are a far more talented team than the Lions, across the board. If that's not enough for you, then their ace QB, Matt Stafford, will be replaced by their backup, Jeff Driskel, who isn't anyone to compete with Stafford, although he's certainly more mobile than Stafford ever was. That shouldn't tip the scales in their favor by any stretch, though. They lack an effective running game, as well and their defense is one of the NFL's worst.

If the Cowboys fail to beat the Lions and I mean, beat them impressively, they have no business even being considered as a playoff contender. The level of impetus that the Cowboys have shown vs. winning teams has been far less than satisfactory, although, the Lions aren't winners. We can forget about the Cowboys going anywhere this year, in the playoffs or otherwise, if they fail to play with the necessary resolve in Detroit.

Well this thread at least shows that we are all on the same page as a fanbase on the topic of how Dallas reacts to backups.
