It appears the Mavs have picked up Delonte West. Another good solid pickup. It appears we're going to try and win it with depth again. It worked last year. Maybe it can again.

I do think they're going to unload some of these swing players for some help at C though.

The Mavs don't need any big additions at this point to be in the thick of it. He's a player that shoots decently and can stay in front of some of the faster guards we'll have to get by in the playoffs.

Dwight has identified Dallas as one of the 4 teams he would be willing to play for. The question is, could you sign him and what would it cost for you to get him? You bring up a good point here. This entire deal with Dallas may be part of a package deal to try and acquire Dwight or another Center.

He won't last long in Dallas if he doesn't come in and play Mav's basketball.

It's team 1st all the way in Dallas. If he isn't a team 1st guy he'll be gone.


I expect he wants a championship at this stage more than the individual stuff. Hopefully he'll bring something similar to Jerry Stackhouse for us.

I think Barea is better at his skill set than Delonte is at his.


Barea is so small, quick, and can get to the rim somehow.

Delonte is just a balanced solid player.


The X Factor for Dallas is Roddy Beaubois. If he plays to his potential we'll win the West again.

I think we were hoping for Chauncey Billups but that didn't work out.
