Maybe Dak needed to anticipate that Steele was struggling and show some urgency in that pocket late

What's the one thing he could not do late in the game? Take a sack. And he took THREE in critical situations.

Happens once...blame Steele.

Twice...okay, Steele again.

But that last sack? Dak if you were surprised at that Eagles defensive formation on first and goal, with Steele getting no help (let's talk about that btw)...then that's on you bro.

I’ve seen some pretty good write ups discussing how many sacks are actually a QB stat. It’s either not reading the defense correctly or holding the ball too long.

I need to watch that one again, but maybe that’s the case here.

Could be a mix of both… MM not being able to run a short goal line play getting receivers open is inexcusable. Ferguson was cooking them all game. You have CD with sticky hands.

Dak absolutely takes way too long in the pocket
Steele sucks
AND MM sucks in the red zone. Putrid.

Seriously how dare he expect a teammate to actually do their job…

He was a statue back there dude. I know Steele whiffed a bit, but Dak literally showed zero lateral movement to avoid the sack.

Which he absolutely could not take in those situations. All three.

Philly and the refs even felt sorry for Dak, giving him ONE MORE CHANCE not to take a sack. Just comical.

Qb’s that can win a Super Bowl over come those situations! Dak can’t! Need to find qb that can, he’s not it! He had 2 drives to put this game away and came up short!

You do know Dak moved a lot to avoid sacks. It would of been even more sacks if Dak didn't move out of the pocket often. If anything the lineman should be thinking him for making them look good on some of those plays by getting the ball out fast or moving out of the pocket. The offensive pass blocking was bad. (mainly because of Steele).

A RB would could pass block would help a lot.

This is like asking a bus driver to carry a spare engine with him because he expects the bus to break down. Dak DEPENDS on his O line to function at his role. Its his manager's (coaches) job to make sure the offense is ready to roll and make adjustments as needed.

The moment Dak shows "some urgency" and gets rid of the ball because Steele can't block - and it gets picked - we all know who'd get the blame.

Steele is paid to block. He got a hefty extension this year. Your QB can't be chucking it in 1.5 seconds - to god knows where - because he failed.

Steele was awful today. Dak was not. That's on Steele, bro.

This pic is less than 2 seconds from the snap. Dak already has a player on his left leg and another defender about to take his head off. He was trying to get out of the pocket but with Terrance TurnSteele as his RT, he had no chance.

Ya know the reason why we suck with the cap is instead of letting a player go after acl injury we sign them to an extension hoping we get a bargain bin deal. Steel is looking like stolen money at this point. You would think we would learn our lesson and stop this practice but no. Stephen and Jerry truly are morons. It’s insane the cowboys are a profitable franchise in spite of them.

Steele has been awful all season, he should get benched but they will not because we all know if the joneses pay you as the starter you’re the starter no matter what
