It’s fairly solid but one more “specific player” isn’t going to make this team anymore of an NFC championship contender unless it’s Rodgers or Brady and I’m still not sure Dez would be enough of a number 1 receiver to get us there.

Sure, but the premise that just Thomas will automatically make the Cowboys an automatic lock or even contender for the NFC Championship is just dumb. Last time I checked there are 21 other starters and they won’t even play every snap. There’s also weaknesses at other positions, depth and coaching to consider.

Don’t get me wrong, I would love it and it would definitely improve the team but that’s about where it stops.

I would bet thomas goes to an AFC team if moved. Doubt they really consider any deal from us unless we give up a 2nd round pick

For sure, overall I’m honestly still more optimistic than most. I just laugh at the premise of the article that states one player will all of the sudden make us a legit NFC contender.

It’s out of our control but my biggest concern is how much better some of these other NFC teams have become. Even if we get back to 2016, the Eagles clearly aren’t the same team as they were in 2016 nor are the Rams. I think we still have a lot of potential but while we’re treading water at best, they’re doing the 100m freestyle.
