I liked bringing pressure so Brees couldn't get too comfortable. The play I really wanted back was the fourth down that got converted and moved the Chargers to the 8. I thought I saw K.Davis blitzing at that point. I would have liked to have had him helping in coverage.

But Zimmer showed me, espoecially on that last drive, that he is a very good D-Coordinator. He brought the blitz EVERY PLAY on the goaline stand and it payed off big time. If it wasnt for poor coverage, his blitzing would have stopped them much earlier. Get off his back people.

his ability to adapt to this 3-4 makes him even more impressive.

I think he got lucky we went and got some good CB's to cover his butt with all that blitzing. We lose a game like this last year.

Yes, we usually lose on those type of situations.

My heart always drops on a 3rd and long. But now just maybe.....maybe, it won't drop so much anmore...not since Wannstadt and Butch Davis was DC for us.

Hope Zimmer can't keep it up...or is it the players....

HE had acouple good calls but then he also got lost at times....He's an OK DC, with some time he can become better but as of right now he didnt do anything special.
