Oh yeah, I definately want Glenn back. I think he will sign anyway.
I agree Glenn has performed above and beyond what was asked of him when he signed he could definitley start for a lot of teams. i cannot beleive the Texans let him go did he have a bad year for the Texans I know they wanted to get younger but he deserved a spot on that team.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Reeves along with Nate Jones get some time practicing at FS during training camp and the beginning of the season. Beriault went down for good and wasn't practicing much anyhow and Pile wasn't here yet. I thought I remember BP talking about this during his PC's late in TC and/or early in the season.
I seem to remember something along those lines also.

Reeves has done very well for himself. He's cemented his role on this team, and he does his job well. I think he's really developing though, and he's the perfect late round draft pick.

With Phillip Buchanon and Danta Robinson on the team they were not willing to spend more money to keep Glenn who was due a roster bonus had he remained in Houston.

I guess we know who got the last laugh in that deal Buchanon has been terrible and Glenn has definitley been playing with a chip on his shoulder. I just hope he does not want to be a starter again and pushes to go to another team.

Reeves is good-- Dallas has the best cornerbacks in the NFL. What a change! Next up: safety!

reeves and bradie james should be shining examples of why we shoudnt
over react to burnetts lack of playing time this year. you can see the young guys getting more and more comfortable and playing like they know what to do.
ware, spears, canty, burnett , pettiti, barber, thompson should all make the same
progress next year that reeves did this year and james has done over 2 years.
this bodes well for us in the upcoming years.

I liked Reeves when he played last year too. Even though he gave up a lot of catches, he was always close/near by.

I didn't see the Panthers game, but I do like Reeves as a solid backup type for a few years

Henry has missed at least one game in each of the last three years. Hopefully he isn't injury prone, but I have to wonder.

Reeves has pretty good credentials, and good size. He's played well as a backup, and adds good depth. Aaron Glenn isn't going to be around a whole lot longer, and while he has had a good year, he is a bit undersized, and is losing a step. Reeves is a strong candidate for nickelback in my opinion. While reeves has made his share of mistakes this year, he certainly isn't unique in that regard.

A safety has to possess good closing speed. That's always been the main criteria for a free safety. Don't know if Reeves has that or not.
