Maybe Jerry should meddle, tell Parcells that he (Jerry) wants to find next OL coach!

Who was Jimmy Johnsons O Line coach in Dallas? Was it Tony Wise, or was it Hudson Houck? Does anyone remember?

If Jerry Jones hasn't burnt his bridges with them too, and if they are still coaching, maybe they can be lured back to Dallas for the right amount of money.

Did they have any input into Jimmy Johnson's draft choices? Although they were most probably nothing like scouts, perhaps they did have some input, and would have seen the downside of a Stephen Peterman, or a Jacob Rogers, or an Al Johnson, or giving a lot to Marco Rivera.

Hudson Houck scares me - those offensive lines in his later years here weren't all that great.

He did a great job in SD with a bunch of riff-raff and now has turned around the Dolphins OL. The man has quite a track record of success. It is not his fault that JJ drafted a bunch of shatty OL in the 90s to replace the group he refined in big D.

Tony Wise was the offensive line coach until Wannstedt took over the Chicago Bears. Wise followed him and Houck took over the o-line in 1993.

How about Rick Muir(sp)? He's definitely one of the best.

He coached that Tampa OL(the one that won the Super Bowl). It was actually WORSE than our's, but with him there, they somehow got better with that complex system as the season went along.

Honestly-I don't think our OL is THAT bad. The coaching all around has been the biggest problem here.

Coaches coach, players play.

We have two guys at tackle right now who are young and not the most talented guys in the league. Rivera was a Pro Bowler, no coaching needed. Allen, best Offensive Guard to ever play, no coachign needed. Al Johnson, Cowboys showed faith in him and it was a mistake because he gets tossed around like a rag doll.

Why doesn't Jerry just coach the team? He doesn't need to pay a middle man.

We tried to get Bill Muir here.

It did not work out.

We settled for the booby prize.

That is a pretty ignorant stance.

By your estimation, Dave Campo could win a Super Bowl with more talent.

Am I correct in assuming this?
